It was fine and I would go back. The sales team is helpful and they don't pressure you.

This review concerns HH Gregg corporate and not this particular store. Rather than adjusting prices on appliances, the company promises a $69.99 rebate card that is a Visa card. The front of the card states that funds do not expire. However, there is an expiration date on the front, which is confusing to the consumer. I forgot about my card for a while, and even though it says funds do not expire, HH Gregg refused to re-issue the card. The grounds for not re-issuing was fine print on the back which states a monthly service charge goes into effect on the card after six months. No HH Gregg employee ever explained that. So the "monthly maintenance fee" negates out the value of the card. This is an unethical practice. When I explained that I just purchased another $2,600 worth of appliances from the company, and asked in the name of good customer relations to have the card re- issued, I was flatly denied. I will shop for appliances with a local dealer in the future.

This review is for the hhgregg located at 8160 Renaissane Pkwy Durham NC 27713---phone #919 405 3937--We purchased a washing machine --picked it up and brought it home and installed it---it immediately began making loud banging noises---after multiple attemps to fix we contacted the store---we were told that it is hhgreggs policy  ---we--must return it in its box to the store for a refund---they refused to pick  up the item--- ''IF WE SOLD YOU A COMPUTER AND IT WAS DEFECTIVE YOU WOULD HAVE TO BRING IT BACK---WE WOULD NOT SEND SOMEONE OUT TO GET IT''--they obviously do not care about customer service if this is the policy for all of their stores---we have purchased items from them in the past and have referred others----we must have been very lucky that  they were not defective---we will be contacting corporate headquarters tomorrow---and returning the item to the store--I cannot believe in this economy  where stores are struggling that this is their policy---we are very unhappy customers and will never purchase ANYTHING from hhgregg. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE STORES--
