We spent nearly $400. I think I am going to give them a ?C?, because of the pricing. I thought it was just too much money for the service provided. The next day the key was broken and after spending $400 he didn?t come to repair the broken key.

I just think he should have come back for that last key the next day. I really kind of just felt a little bit kind of ripped off. I didn?t like the way I felt. When something else went wrong the day after, he didn?t offer to come back unless we were going to pay him. A professional would have done it.

Very well. He gave the piano a complete inspection, tightened a couple of things that needed it, and then tuned it.

Randy did a great job. He explained what he did and why. He played the piano before he left and it sounded great. I had always preferred piano tuners who tuned by ear. Randy tuned both by ear and electronically, and he explained the reasons and that electronic tuners have come a long way and that every piano is checked by ear because each one is individual. We have had no problems with the action or the tuning since he did it.  I was also very pleased that he fit me into his schedule quickly, coming a few days after my call to him. This was especially important for us because a piano tuner we had used previously had been injured and had cancelled our appointment, so by the time I realized he was never coming my piano was two or three months overdue for its annual tuning.

He arrived 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment, but called to let me know he was running late due to a prior appointment that ran over.  He explained what he was going to do,showed me how the piano sounded before being tuned and and again after it was  tuned.  He went into detail about a key that is giving a little problem....what is wrong with it and how to go about fixing it.  He was very polite and professional.  I felt comfortable with him.

He arrived right on time. The piano had been moved 500 miles and then two more times locally so it needed the full tune, not just a maintenance, which is a different price point. I think their pricing is reasonable no matter which level of tuning you need. The price I paid also factors in the promised senior discount.
I'm in the piano teaching business so I can easily hear when the piano is out of tune. I think he did a great job.

The owner of Heritage Piano Tuning is extremely knowledgeable. He's a musician and also a technician, so he does more than just come out and bring string up to pitches. He's a true technician, so when he leaves the piano is right when he walks out of the room.
