We have 4 employees that can handle a number of jobs between service and installation. We take all charge cards, check, or cash. Angie's list members who call throughout summer will receive a special, $49.00 for a 1 system tune up, and if you have more than 1 system, $75.00 for every system you have on your house. The owner, Chad Hensley is completely immature and unprofessional. 3 months and $4,700 later the system stopped working. I contacted Chad and his main concern was "you're not turning this around me", not attempting to explain or help the customer. He proceeded to make personal insults after tactful e-mails sent by myself. He cursed at me, yelled, made insults, etc. I am not an HVAC expert. Most people are not. Chad uses this to try and make you feel inferior and even called me "an idiot". Based on his installers obvious drug use, I wanted to know if everything was wired correctly. Chad drives to my house on a motorcycle with no tools to "tell" me that I am wrong, not explain, "tell". He even had to borrow my tools to do what he needed. I sincerely regret not asking them to leave after inquiring if drug use on the job "was cool" and calling the police. I sincerely regret giving $4,700 to Chad Hensley. Oh, the original quote was $4,900. I convinced him to give me a discount because they completely missed an appointment one day.
After telling him that I would no longer be purchasing for his company because it was a bad experience, he tells me that I owe him $129 for aforementioned visit (motorcycle, no tools). If I did not pay him, he would not honor my warranty or charge the freon all the way (he was unable to give a full charge when installed). He also attempted to "scare" me into payment saying he digitally records his customers conversations without consent, and that he had recording of me agreeing to this charge after I disputed it with him. No attempt to collect this fee was made until he learned that I would no longer be giving him my business. Chad Hensley attempts to be a bully. But his immaturity deflates his attempts.
When I showed the realtor that recommended him to me the e-mails of him cursing and insulting me, they refused to recommend him ever again because nobody wants their name associated with that type of behavior.
Chad Hensley is immature, unprofessional, and unethical. I highly recommend not wasting you time with Hensley's Heating & Air.
