He tightened the pulley chains on the 2 doors and oiled the appropriate areas. He did it quickly and effectively.

I called for an estimate to replace (2) garage doors. Within a week, representative came to my house, as scheduled. I knew what I wanted and made quick selections that day (2) 9'x7' steel garage doors. He emailed an estimate to me the following day. I called, placed an order and scheduled the installation. The installers came five weeks later, as scheduled, and completed the work. Everyone at the company was efficient, professional and polite. I recommend highly recommend The Garage Door Specialist.

Dennis arrived right on time for the service appointment. He assessed the situation quickly, then got right to work. Upon completion, he double checked everything was working properly, then oiled the door spring, rollers and hinges. The door works great (and quietly)!!!

I was expecting an answering machine when I called on Sunday, so I was pleasantly surprised when Jimmy answered the phone and set me up for an appointment on Monday. Eric, the tech that came out, was very professional and honest and took the time to explain things to me. I had a broken torsion spring. He replaced the the torsion system and added a strong strut to the door. The garage door opener is now connected to that sturdy strut instead of the weak little bracket that ripped off. Jimmy was great to set me up with an appointment so quickly and Eric was a really nice guy who knew what he was doing.

I was extremely pleased with this company!! When I called, Michelle answered and addressed all of my questions, provided pricing information, and promptly scheduled my appointment. Email reminders for the appointment were even sent out. The technician, Bob, was unbelievably skilled, detail-oriented, and personable. Not only did he install the opener, but he spent a lot of time making sure that my door was adjusted properly and corrected a few issues caused by another company that I had unfortunately used in the past. On top of it all, I felt that the pricing was very fair. I've used other companies, and the team at Garage Door Specialist really stood out in comparison. I will definitely be using them for any future needs and suggest that others do the same.

Jimmy was very professional, prompt, and courteous. He also quickly helped me program my cars to work with the new system. The belt-driven unit is much quieter than my old chain unit. It was a very good experience, and I would hire this company again.

It went well. They did a great job. The only issue is that they forgot to bring the extra door openers I ordered and it took longer than it should have to get them from them.

rather than replace openers, suggested that they simply add a greater length of antennae to each opener. Worked like a charm at a fraction of the cost of replacing openers.
