Washer/dryer units were stacked. Frank dropped the dryer on its face when removing it for access to washer. Damage to both w/d resulted. Parts not available to replace all damaged dryer parts. Other spare parts ordered but not installed need to be returned. Frank refuses to pick up the spare parts or to refund me the amount I paid him for them, but only offered refund his cost for the parts. He also offered $150 for parts not ordered because unavailable.

Frank is a Salt of the Earth dude. He fixed an older Bosch dishwasher we were ready to replace. We were concerned removing it might damage the granite, and we're really glad Frank was able to keep the existing machine working. It's been a few years, and it's still running very well.

We found out that the original installers didn't tighten all of the connections, causing the pipes to freeze. Frank was able to solve the problem, order the parts, and come back and fix it in a timely manner. Considering it was around the Holidays he still made it a point to fix the issue before Christmas. I have been using Frank's Appliance for years now and he is very responsive, and let's me know when something isn't worth fixing. Very trustworthy company.

Difficult communication with office; most often have to leave a message & wait for a call-back which sometimes took 2 days. Took 3 tries for service visit; 1st a no show, then a cancellation, then did arrive at last visit late (but at least did call that time to notify me of time change). Was unable to diagnose the problem that another company solved within 15 minutes. Did not provide report of service visit to manufacturer until I called manufacturer & they called Franks (3 business days later) to request the report. When I called to let them know dishwasher problem was continuing, they said they had no availability for at least 3 weeks. Price covered by manufacturer, so not sure how much service charge would be. Caused me at least 3 extra weeks of hand dish washing due to delay in service visit & inability to diagnose problem.

Frank is far more knowledgeable than the many providers that have come through this house trying to repair my Bosch, Thermador, and Dacor appliances. Though he was only here to fix the dishwasher he quickly noted problems I've been experiencing with the other appliances with just a quick look. 
I highly recommend Frank if you value your time and want the job done right the first time.

Found Frank through Miele authorized service. Discussed the problem over the phone with his office manager and e-mailed her a picture of the defective part. They ordered a replacement part and so Frank had what he needed when he arrived for the repair. He was punctual and organized and knew what he was doing. Repair was completed without difficulty. Overall, would rate work as excellent and would definitely use again if the need arises. Highly recommended.

During the initial visit, Frank appeared to fix the problem. However, the oven would not regulate properly so I called him back. When he returned, I tried to tell him that when I set the oven at a specific temperature, it overheated by 50 degrees. He argued that the oven was shutting off properly, which it obviously was not. He immediately decided it was a faulty thermostat. Since Thermador no longer carried a replacement part, he told me to order a compatible part from the supplier, which I did.
Frank returned to replace the thermostat but was unwilling to stay to see if the oven was heating properly. After he left, I found that I had exactly the same problem as I had prior to the installation of the new thermostat. He returned and in the process of his continuing to work on the range, there was a significant electrical explosion. Frank left, saying he was unwilling to do any further work and that the new thermostat must have been faulty. He offered to contact the supplier and later when I contacted his office I was told that he would be willing to returen, but at this point, I was unwilling to have Frank do any additional work.
I called another Thermador certified repair service and they did an evaluation and found that Frank had connected the new thermostat improperly. They gave me paperwork from the manufacturer stating/showing that a wire Frank had connected was not to be connected. The second company said that extensive damage had been done to the range and they could not repair it. As a result, I have purchased a new $14,000 range.
When I contacted Frank to ask for a refund for his services ($493.31) and part ($309.73), he told me to contact his lawyer and hung up on me. As a result of Frank's surly personality, unwillingness to listen, and failure to read the directions for the installation of the new thermostat, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WOULD I RECOMMED USING FRANK'S APPLIANCE TO WORK ON ANY HIGH-END APPLIANCE.

Took two visits, one to diagnose, then order the part and install a week later. Punctual both times.
Excellent workmanship and professionalism.
Since it is a Miele, the parts are expensive and there is nothing he can do about that.
