Fonville Morisey

Use extreme caution when using Fonville Morissey. I unknowingly used a provision agent who by law could not act without supervision by her broker in charge, who was a senior VP at Fonville. This agent required a 6% buyer's agent fee before she would submit my offer (I was told this was required when using dual agency). This agent gave me incomplete property disclosure statement that intentionally did not disclose known defects, she lied to every question I asked of her regarding the property's attributes, and once I made my offer she altered it to show representations that were fraudulent. When I complained to the real estate commission, Fonville's Senior VP submitted a forged loan pre-approval letter to support the alteration to my offer and proceeded to blame ME for falsyfying my own contract. There are far more ethical brokers out there

While we were making offers and accepting counter offers, another buyer made an offer.  Our agent gave us some really bad advice and his communication with the seller's agent was detrimental to the process involving emotional responses.  He received a counter offer to our first offer that he did not discuss with us until after he had responded tot he seller.  I understand this is strictly against the rules if not actually illegal.  He handled his communication to the seller's agent very unprofessionally and gave the seller's agent too much information that was detrimental to us and our attempt to buy the home.  We lost out, partly because I made some poor choices but mostly because our buyer's agent behaved so unprofessionally.
I expect some, many, or even most agents at Fonville-Morisey could be wonderful and very professional but one bad agent tend to t**** all that work there.
I will not have any dealings with Fonville-Morisey if I have any choice in the future.
Obviously I an very disappointed and even angry but most / everyone would be if they had our experience.

He is very good in the investment property arena, but he also works with buyers looking for a personal residence. He is very good about following up. If you call him about something, he will get back to you.
