Fehr's Plumbing did a fabulous job replacing an old bathtub with a new unit. This job required removing a false wall in order to install a larger tub unit and completely replacing the plumbing to the unit. Eric and Aaron Fehr were professional and thorough. They showed up when they said they would and got the job done in one day. They were meticulous in protecting existing flooring from the exterior door to the bathroom and cleaned up after themselves afterward. After their drywall contractor finished up the next day, Eric and Aaron came by to reinstall baseboards and molding around the tub and reinstalled the shower curtain rail. Working with the Fehr brothers was an enjoyable experience. Great work at a reasonable price. And they do so much more. Fehr Brothers is my new "go to" plumbing and handyman contractor.

These guys went way beyond the call of duty. Lowe's sent the wrong tub, and they had come with me to pick it up, and had to wait around for an hour or so until we found out what had happened. They took the old tub out that day, and when the new one came in, they did a great job of installing it in a very cramped space. All that and they didn't charge me extra. I'd hire 'em again.

The Fehr brothers, Eric and Aaron, are highly skilled professionals. They replaced my old tub-and-shower with a Sterling tub and shower combo from Ferguson's (much better quality than I had expected). I was so pleased with their work that I asked them to do many other plumbing jobs on that day (replace the leaky shut-off valve, stop valves, and so on). While the bathtub was being replaced, I watched them strategize how to take out the old tub from the tight 2nd-floor space and prepare the area expertly. After the new tub was situated, they started to mix a batch of high-strength mortar, which puzzled me. Then they lifted the tub straight up chest high, and while Eric was holding it, Aaron spread the mortar on top of the black vinyl sheet they had placed to waterproof. It made the support system with several legs as one entity of a thick layer of concrete sitting flat on the wooden floor. (Otherwise, the individual legs could puncture holes down the road.) They said it's their trade secret, and other plumbers don't do it because it's an unseen area. They waited a couple of hours for the mortar to harden before installing the rest of the plumbing fixtures and the walls. Since the water heater had been taken out (for replacement) before they came, they had to connect the cold water inlet directly to the hot water outlet before testing. While the tub was being filled, "no hot water" became a running joke among the three of us. They use easily replaceable fixtures and tell you how to replace them, etc., while they do the work if you hang around. They told me to get pop-up Delta faucets from HomeDepot, so I secured several of them while ordering a tankless water heater (electric) online, for which I'm waiting for the delivery before calling them back. 

I highly recommend Fehrâ s Plumbing of Raleigh. Not only was the workmanship top notch, but Eric was communicative and patient. My schedule and the scope of work changed during the project, but Eric maintained contact and responded almost immediately to every text or phone call. The bathtub and insert looks great and if the need arise I will not hesitate to call Fehrâ s Plumbing for my next project!

Fehrâ s plumbing, came in, gave me a free estimate and gave fair prices, when problems arose, they let me know the issues and fixed them without hesitation.

If I could give more than 5 star I would. Our water heater was not giving off hot water for the past 2 months but figured it was somewhat normal. It wasnâ t, the water heater went out. They called immediately same day and said they could come out around 5, they came around 3:30 ready to figure out what was wrong with our pump. Worked well after hours and just left my home at 9:40pm I strongly recommend this company and you wonâ t regret it! Thank guys youâ re the best!!

I originally hired these guys for a shower/tub install, and have called them twice since then! They are incredibly knowledgeable, very respectful of my time and household, and are extremely skilled at their work. Iâ  ve been recommending them to everyone I know, and just cannot say enough about them. Their pricing is very reasonable, and they are meticulous about their work. Definitely will use them again!
