Never having received a bouquet like this before, I made sure I kept it with great care. There were 12 apricot roses which seemed very healthy at the time. As the week unfolded, so did the flowers. The stargazer lilies opened first, then the tulips. After the tulips opened (toward the end of last week) and the bouquet seemed to be at full bloom last week, I noticed the rose buds start to dry out at the tips and then they just bent over and never opened. I called Teresa at the North Raleigh location and she said I should have called earlier--within 3 to 4 days. I told her that I had been watching the bouquet, and how would I know when I should have called? Most of the flowers had not opened at 4 days, and there was nothing in writing with the delivery to tell me to call within that time. Her reply stunned me! She said, "well most people would know what to do. It's like fresh produce. There is nothing I can do for you. You should have called earlier. Sometimes they cut the stems too short (I think she was referring to the folks who provide Fallons with their roses)" I'm sorry, Teresa, I don't get bouquets like this every day! When I asked what she could do, she said I could call her boss, Frank Campari, and ask him. If she called him, he probably wouldn't do anything. She didn't even give me the opportunity to ask what I wanted, nor did she apologize! What a terrible way to treat someone! I was almost in tears! Now I am awaiting Frank's call (I left a message with someone at the St. Mary's store) and will give an update if I hear from him. I'm actually stunned at the conceited way I was spoken to. Clearly, Fallons needs to provide more detailed customer service training for their employees or hire someone better trained.
Description of Work: I was sent a gorgeous bouquet for a birthday gift from my husband who had to be out of town on business. It included snap dragons, lilies, tulips, daisy mums and apricot roses. The colors were stunning. Since it was a birthday present, I didn't ask him what he spent, so I have listed an approximate amount in this review.

The gal on the phone was so sweet, very hospitable & kind. I upgraded each order to the deluxe, instead of the standard, which attributes to the increased cost. The pricing was as I expected it to be. They were able to do same day delivery. It was a very good experience. I would use them again.
Description of Work: I placed two separate orders at the same time; one was to a hospital & one to a residence.
