Another excellent visit from Jimmy Everette and this team. They are the BEST. Jimmy knows his trees, how to make them complement our home and yard, and just what will work best for our situation. He directed his people, kept them moving on the job, chopped up all the wood to take away, and cleaned up afterward. Our home now looks so much better, the branches no longer touch the house, and his ideas as to what our options might be and what would be be best were just great. We cannot be more pleased.
Description of Work: Needed tree trimming and removal of some trees to open up our yard. Also asked for lot cleanup of fallen branches and trees. We based our choice of Everette Tree Service on Angies List and the good work he did for us 2.5 years ago. Jimmy was a bit delayed in responding to my phone call but he explained that he had been out of town. He then set up an appointment to see our home the next day and we did the work within another week.

I had called two companies and left messages for a quote (Everett's was one) and also filled out a "contact us" section of a third company. Everett's was the only one to return my contact and he did so standing on my back deck looking at the trees we needed trimming. He gave an excellent overview of the work I wanted done and a fair estimate. Due to his schedule he could do the work that afternoon or in two weeks. I asked if I could call him back after my husband and I spoke. I called back in about an hour and he was able to go out and do the job and called me when he was within an hour of finishing so I could leave work and see the competed job while he and his crew where still at the house. He work was excellent and professional and they cleaned up the yard very well after trimming three trees in the back and at least 7 very tall trees on the side. He also was very informative and conservative when it came to cutting down some trees; he felt since we had not lived in the home very long he would trim back (should last 3 years) and then if we wanted the trees cut down we could call and have the service done latter but he felt we should live in the house a while before we make that decision. Very good choice on his part.

I was incredible impressed with the speediness of Jimmy’s service. We had 30’ tree leaning toward the house, resting on another tree. I put in a request on the website to schedule an appointment for a quote. Using email only, he followed instructions to the tree (we live on a wooded lot, so this is quite impressive to me) and provided a quote the same day. The tree was removed the following day, before other companies even followed up with my inquiry.

As a landscape architect I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of arborists, foresters, and tree specialists. But I can say without hesitation that my experience with Everett Tree Service was the most impressive. My wife and I recently purchased a new home. About a dozen large pine, red maple, cedar and sweet gum were encroaching upon the foundation and branching onto the roof, resulting in significant shingle/siding damage. We decided to go with Everett Tree Service rather than some of my other industry contacts after reading their reviews on Angie's List. When I called them Mr. Everett answered the phone personally, always a nice touch. He was very cordial and professional during the estimate and provided an analysis of his thoughts on which trees we might wish to have removed, and why. But he was also sure to hear our needs and what our "wish list" was. The price was good so we scheduled for service the following Friday.Friday came and Mr. Everett's crew showed up as promised - several trucks with every imaginable piece of tree equipment lined our street. All fleet vehicles were clean, shiny and in good shape - it is obvious by this and the actions of the crew during the service that they take pride in their equipment and their company - and to my wife and I that reflects an added level of professionalism that is often missing in the tree service industry. We were amazed at the speed and accuracy of Mr. Everett's team. They were obviously very skilled and throughout the service experience were courteous and polite. They focused on the work at hand and did so in a friendly manner. Whenever we had a question or concern (or changed our mind about a particular tree) they quickly halted operations, addressed our concerns and did not proceed until we were completely comfortable with our decision. One thing that really stood out to me and my wife was the fact that Mr. Everett climbed the trees himself to hang the rigging and swing from tree to tree to attach all the necessary safety cables. We got the feeling he really enjoyed this - and I think maybe that is why his company is so successful, especially on Angie's List. Mr. Everett and his team seem to have a genuine passion and excitement for their work. After the trees were safely cut the crew moved them to the front yard staging area for immediate chipping and ground all accessable root balls. We got alot of great video of the entire process which we will share at a later date. The crew then cleaned the site, including using a leaf blower, then left in an orderly manner. During the service there were no negative incidents, no use of foul language, no smoking, no generally annoying behavior - all of which can be part of the typical tree service experience. So my wife and I give the Everett team high marks in character. In summary, selecting Everett Tree Service was a wise decision on our part. Customer service was excellent. Safety and attention to detail excellent as well. And lastly, Mr. Everett did the work at an excellent price - no haggling - straight forward, honest pricing the way it should be. I know it is hard to believe but we found no negatives during this service and an abundance of positives. We highly recommend Everett Tree Service.

These guys are brilliantly good at what they do. Six of the eight trees had to be climbed. The owner was on site the whole time. The trees were right in the middle of landscaped areas that needed to be protected. They damaged NOTHING, and used a combination of manual labor and careful bobcat work to get the tree pieces to the chipper. They cleaned up and left the place as nice as they found it. I have now used them twice in two years.

I contacted Everett Tree Service to have several stumps ground in our yard. I spoke with Jason and received a quote over the phone for the cost of the stump grinding. We set the time for the following week and Jason showed up on time and got immediately to work. About two hours later the job was done, or so I thought. Fast forward a couple of days later, and I was removing the shavings from the stumps and uncovered portions of the stumps that still remained ungrounded. So I called back Jason and he agreed to come back out in a couple of days to finish the job. I also have to state that Everett Tree Service did not do the tree removal so the stumps were left at a height that was probably too high to begin with. NO PROBLEM THOUGH!! Jason did come back out, assessed the situation, and got to work finishing the job. He asked me to come over and inspect to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. Great job and well done! Jason was knowledgeable, professional and addressed all of our concerns. We would not hesitate to call Everett Tree Service to come back for the additional tree work that we have planned in the future. Very good prices and the customer service is an A+!! Thank you again!!

It went great. The team was on-time and got to work right away. The owner himself came out to make sure that everything was being done properly. Even when he encountered a couple of unexpected problems, he honored the original price. They left the property in a better condition that when he arrived as committed. Would definitely recommend them. Significantly lower than Bartlett's, who we've also used in the past.

Background info: Our region commonly features hard clay and dense pine woods. Interior trees in these woods are often crowded, tall and weakly rooted. They fare poorly when housing developments are constructed among them. Formerly sheltered interior trees are wounded by equipment, their collars buried during regrading, and their weak roots pulled by stronger wind exposures due to removal of other trees around them. Our lot had close to 30 such trees, every one either visibly damaged or bark-beetle-infested. They began blowing down, a few at a time, just weeks after we moved into our new house. A certified arborist from a company that does not do tree removal reported that there was not a large tree on our lot that was likely to regain its health. It was only a matter of time before each came down in strong winds, and due to the trees' height, most would threaten our or our neighbors' homes, fences, landscaping, and possibly personal safety. Enter Jimmy Everett and his team. He gave us a free estimate and told us that he would be open to a group of neighbors' splitting the cost of a period of work by his crew. There is a substantial but reasonable base charge for equipment use and for the services of a highly skilled crane operator along with the rest of his exceptional team; after that, it's a much lower per-tree charge. Since we had so many trees, Jimmy gave us a break on the number of trees for which he charged us. A huge crane was carefully sited and braced on reinforced ground to prevent, as much as possible, any damage to the front yard and driveway. (We had no damage.) Trucks, a large chipper/grinder, and other work equipment were arranged along the curbs of the street nearby to support preparation of materials to be hauled away. When unfolded, the crane looked to me to be about 2.5 times the height of our two-story house. Next, Jimmy's crew prepared and lifted vertically each whole tree minus its stump, easing it expertly, slowly, and safely around/between buildings as necessary, out to the street. There, the crew laid the tree flat and prepared it for transport away from the site, including the smaller bits. Trees that were too rotten to bear their own weight for such a procedure were removed in pieces. We asked Jimmy to chip/grind our tree stumps in place, resulting in neat piles of wood-chip mulch. I cannot stress enough how methodically, professionally, cordially, and safely all of this was done by Jimmy and his crew. During our job, a nearby resident of an adjoining street approached Jimmy to ask whether he might piggyback an impromptu job on ours (fine with us), since the team and the equipment were already there. Jimmy said "yes," and the neighbor had a few pines lifted from his fenced backyard for just the per-tree fee. Our next-door neighbor, similarly, had a dead tree removed for only the per-tree fee after our larger job was done. Jimmy also mentioned to me that he takes emergency calls, giving the example that his team had worked successfully in the midst of a storm to save someone's house, removing a large tree that was literally about to fall on it. I believe him. The Everett crew finished our job by removing and carting away debris, then using a leaf-blower to clean up not only the yard but also the street area in which they had dismantled the downed trees. They were quick and thorough. No trace of the operation was left behind, other than the increased light where the removed trees had been, some wood-chip mulch, and my new peace of mind.
Description of Work: The Everett Tree Service removed 30+ crowded, damaged trees, most of them tall, weakly rooted pines, from our small suburban lot in a recent housing development. As a result of my experience, I strongly recommend this company. Outstanding client-contractor communications, punctuality, quality and safety of operations, excellence of teamwork and employees' skills, all convinced me to write this review.

Jason gave me an estimate for the minimum service charge, but with the understanding that the schedule would need to be flexible so they could schedule multiple jobs in one area. When you see the amount of equipment they have, then you can understand this request. It took a couple of weeks to find a time that was suitable for my schedule, their schedule and the weather, but when it finally came, they showed up and did an outstanding job. I was very concerned about damage to my lawn due to their lift machinery which runs on 6 ft long tracks. However, when they arrived, the put down these huge hard plastic panels all the way from my driveway through the side yard. They trimmed everything I needed, did not damage any plants and cleaned up well afterwards. Other than the missing limbs, you can't tell they were ever here. I was extremely satisfied - great job guys!

Everett Tree Service was incredibly responsive, and so friendly! They came by to give a quote about an hour after we called, were easy to speak with, and clearly knew what they were talking about. They would have been able to take care of it by the end of the week! I would recommend them to others in a heartbeat. In the end, the only reason we did not utilize their services was due to cost. We had lower estimates from other high-ranking competitors. But for larger jobs in the future, we will probably call for quotes from Everett.

They were outstanding. We were lucky this time around. I think we found them on Angie's List. We spent in the range of $3000.00, but I could be wrong. They had to remove the difficultly placed tree, so it was a little tricky. They were very responsive when we called them. They came out absolutely as soon as they could. They were very professional and very safe. That's one of the things we noticed about them. They took a lot of care with that. They were excellent. We would use them again in the future. We recommend them to other people.

Tried contacting them through the web site twice and never got a response. Called and got a message saying the voice mail box is full and couldn't leave a message. Update: a few days after submitting this report, I finally got an email response from Jimmy and he was then very responsive. Got an estimate the next day, but it turned out the job would end up involving a crane and cost much more than I was hoping for, so I decided the benefits were not worth the cost. I am about 30 some miles from them. They scheduled at a time they had other jobs in my neighborhood so that it would cost me less and I could share the cost of bringing the crane over here. He gave me a heads up in advance that if there were other trees that needed to be taken down I could add on while they were here and it could save me money. He also gave me tips to say that if there were other jobs that needed down while the work crew was here they would take care of it. They were happy to add on anything I wanted to and they charged me very little for the add ons. They were articulate, polite, professional, and they did a great job. I am totally happy with what they did. The price was reasonable. They also removed trees from my neighbors while they were here as add ons.

The well-orchestrated crew worked with the precision of a surgeon felling the selected trees. These trees were plucked by a 140-foot crane, and the trees were placed beside a chipper that made short work of them. I needed 5-10 trees removed from my yard. I looked on Angies List for recommnedations. Jimmy Everett quickly responded to my request for an estimate. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He offered advice when I asked him to help me make good decisions about tree removal. Jimmy was extremely clear in explaining how the job would be done, what I could expect from him and his employees, how to make the best use of my mone,y and what he would charge. He left me with a written estimate and his insurance information. Scheduling was easy, and he and his crew arrived on time. Jimmy remained at the sight throughout the entire job. I can happily say I was amazed at how skilled, efficient and hard-working he and his team were. Jimmy continually checked in with me to see if I had questions, if I was pleased and if there was anything else he could do for me. He did EVERYTHING he said he would do AND MORE for the price he quoted. He is a savvy businessman with agreat desire to please his customers.... and I could not have been more pleased. Thank you Jimmy and crew for a job well done.

Where I told them that I was interested in making sure that there was no damage to my azaleas, they were very careful about them. I neglected to ask them to be careful where I had the maple trimmed up because it had a bunch of impatiens under it. Some the debris came crashing on the impatiens but they perked up after a couple of weeks. For the rest. we are very pleased and see the service that they did. They came with enough equipment and people to get the job done in the morning. They cleaned up after themselves very nicely.
Description of Work: Removed a very large leaning gumball. As requested, the tree was left on property due avoid damage to grass by tracking back and forth. Also, we requested no use of crane as the crane would have to hover over our house and well, you never know. He was the only one who would oblige in a friendly manner on both the crane and leaving the tree. We are on a heavily wooded lot. Also had a maple trimmed up removing about a 6 in diameter limb, had another gumball removed (10-12 in diameter), had a sourwood (10-12) removed in its entirety, another pine removed in its entirety (8-10 in diameter), another leaning gumball (8-10) in diameter removed in its entirety, and another tree trimmed up with limb being around 6 in in diameter. They worked quickly on a very hot day. A tip that he gave me is that if you intend to leave the tree, you should have the service done in the winter so it's not too messy looking. We needed these removed before the big tropical storms though,

I sent Jimmy a message via their web site and he called me the next day (Memorial Day) and said he was working nearby and thought he could take care of what I needed in about one hour. He clearly explained his rates and arrived about an hour later. He removed the tree and had it chipped up in about 15 minutes. He trimmed some overgrown hedges and cleaned up all debris. I had some old stumps that needed grinding and they took care of that also. Jimmy definitely has all of the right equipment to handle any tree job. It was amazing to watch his crew of five quickly take care of the task at hand. I am well pleased with the job they did. I can?t believe all the work they did in one hour. I?ll be using him again in the future.
