They brought in two tanks that they said were filled with ozone and they put one on the first floor and one on the second floor. They keep them on for a few days. The ozone is supposed to kill odors, which it did, and unfriendly bacteria. I am not sure about the bacteria; I am a bit skeptical about that. In the process, it left a chlorine type smell. I think if you have nuclear waste, then you want to call them. But if you just have a cooking smell, I don't feel that it was necessary. The chlorine smell lasted for about a week. I appreciate their professionalism, but I don't think I would use them again unless there was something hazardous in my home.
