Donnie The Plumber

Although we had evidence of a general household drainage
problem (everything seemed a little sluggish on drainage, I told Donnie up
front that my priority was the kitchen sink and the backup that resulted when
the dishwasher drain cycle was active. He looked things over and declared that
he knew what was wrong; at least with the kitchen sink drainage and that he
would resolve that by reconfiguring the drainage for the common drainage for
left sink, right sink, and dishwasher. I injected that it seemed to me it would
be best to run separate drains from each directly to the main drain pipe or at
least to the 2" secondary drain pipe that runs under the kitchen. He
disagreed and said the will fix the problem without doing all that. My feeling
today (more than two years later) is that the dishwasher drainage would have
benefited from a direct line to the 2" pipe in lieu of a shared connection
with two other sinks. We have since modified our behaviors so as to further
minimize the drain problem so things are tolerable now but frankly I don't give
Donnie all the credit.­­­­­

It started off ok, but went down when I first questioned his pricing. I had called him for service at an earlier time and when I needed something else done as soon as possible, I was told weeks later. Then I told him why that was the case and that we've been doing business for a while. He explain he was too busy, and after that. he just did not return my phone calls. The pricing was a bit cheaper then most. but I would call around first before I settle down to one plumber. 

I called Donnie Monday afternoon and he scheduled me for first thing Wednesday morning. He arrived promptly and went straight to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He had to run to a plumbing supply house to get a part but was back within 30-45 minutes. His price was extremely fair - $65.00 for the service call - he refused to let me pay for the part - saying it was less than a dollar. Other plumbing companies I called wanted almost twice the amount for the initial service call. I'm very glad I called Donnie!

Very high quality work, reliable and willing to work on weekends if needed. Very professional and cleans up before leaving. Very reasonable for the quality.
