Terrible!

In my previous review of Castillo Concrete which I gave immediately after my project was completed, I gave Castillo a glowing review of their work. In March 2020, Castillo replaced my concrete porch. The job required temporarily lifting the porch roof so that two wooden posts could be lifted off the concrete porch while the old concrete was being removed and the new concrete installed. When the job was completed the posts were re-positioned and the temporary supports were removed. Months later (less than a year) I noticed that one post did seem to be perfectly straight up and down. I checked it with a level and found the post to be about 2 off at the bottom. I called Castillo Concrete and told him about my problem and gave him my address. I was told that he would be out the next day to fix it. Next day - no one showed up. A week later - giving Castillo some extra time just in case something more urgent had arisen - I called Castillo back and was asked to text my address and someone would be out to see me the next day. No one showed up. Again I waited a week and called back. The same sequence of events occurred far too many times. The last time I called, Castillo hung up on me and never answered multiple calls back. I contacted HomeAdvisor and Dante said that he would contact Castillo for me. Dante called me back and told me that they hung up on him as well. I called HomeAdvisor to learn what my options were/are. Because the complaint process is so complicated with no promise of success,. I have decided to leave this negative review as a warning to all future potential customers of Castillo. If you hire them, make sure that the job is perfect before you pay them. Be forewarned, they probably will not return to fix anything you discover at a later date.
