We have used Capital Pest Services for the last couple of years and have them come out to perform quarterly services for pest control. We found a wasp nest INSIDE my son's bedroom. They told us they would not be able to send someone out to address it for another month, even though we said we would be willing to pay any additional emergency fees.

We used Capital Pest Services for a couple of seasons. Last year, their treatment lasted for a significantly shorter time than it had in the past. We also had to have a couple of resprays because it either rained shortly after the technician left or we had mosquitoes return well ahead of when they were supposed to. This wasn't a problem with the company. We just got tired of the seasonal cost effectively doubling based on the more frequent spraying.

Let me say that Capital did not solve my problem. Why the high grades you may ask? Because they did everything within their power to fix the problem and make sure they had a satisfied customer. One of the few companies nowadays that stands by their work and is focused on customer sat. Let me explain: We started noticing brown roaches infrequently (at most 2 at a time, usually 1) in 2 areas of the house. Master bath (first floor above crawlspace) and on one side of the bonus room, above the garage. I generally do my own pest control and have been successful defending against the usual suspects (ants, mice, crickets, silverfish, etc.) however I was unsuccessful treating the roaches after the first go round and my wife, creeped out by them, wanted a "quick fix". So I called Cap Pest. They came out and sprayed plus baited for the roaches. Nothing for 2 weeks, not unusual as fortunately, we didn't have high traffic, but then we saw roaches for a few days straight so I called Capital and they promptly came out and retreated the crawlspace as we were seeing them in the master bath area. Then, roughly 2 weeks later, we saw roaches for several days in a row and the day after I contacted Capital, we had them in the bonus room again. They were going to come back out, but since we were past the "quick fix" stage I politely declined and decided to research and tackle the problem myself. I know they do good work, based on Angie's list AND neighbors that have used them, so they couldn't have been the problem. There were a few things I came across as I planned to address the problem myself. 1) We live in the woods with trees everywhere and although we try to keep the leaves away from the house, they are "close enough" to provide a haven for roaches. 2) We had a snowstorm 2-3 days after Capital came out which likely reduced the effectiveness of they treatment. 3) we had record rain last year and I live at the bottom of a long hill (street) and then I have a long driveway that declines toward the house. So all of the rain eventually funnels to a creek on the side of my property. This record rain possibly displaced the roaches and sent them my way because this is the first season we've seen them. 4) The treatment I used, although says it works for roaches, it in fact does not. I retreated myself and cleared some additional leaves. It's been approximately 2 weeks and we've seen 1 roach so far, alive but on it's back dying. In any event, I would hire Capital again if I had a pest problem and I've recommended them to a couple of colleagues that have inquired about pest services. They are awesome.

I got our home retreated for termites by Capital Pest Services. I received excellent, professional service at a very competitive price. The service staff were very courteous.

I have paid Capital pest for at least the last 4 years to treat my home against roaches, mosquitoes, ticks and fleas. I have had to call and complain sometimes over the years when I observed lazy technicians not treating my entire property and that their treatment was in effective. I observed a technician treating my property for only ten minutes and have it recorded on video. My property is a little over an acre and I observed the technician not servicing my entire property. I called capital pest and told them about my video and the service manager stated he did not have time to look at the video and that the technician was a 7 year veteran. Service manager stated that since I was not happy he was closing my account. He later called me back and apologized stating that the work order for my property failed to list flea treatment and he was sending someone out. I did not see any technician come out nor did anyone leave their customary note on my door stating service had been performed. I had to again call Capital pest as my home now has roaches getting in and my home is infested with fleas. Capital pest's response to my complaint was to hang up on me and not answer my calls. I received an email from Capital pest stating that since I was not happy with their service they were closing my account and would no longer service my property. Just horrible that they do not monitor their employees to insure customers are receiving the treatments they paid for and that they are properly applied. It is also horrible that Capital pest does not stand behind their work nor do they take any responsibility or offer any help when an infestation that they were paid to prevent happens. Unless you are home when service is performed on your property, I do not recommend using Capital pest as you have no way of knowing if they treated your property properly or not.

Rep was on time. Frequency of sprays (compared to prior years) has apparently reduced (maybe diluting chemicals more?). The rep made a big deal re payment when he arrived. Said "I don't know the background, but the office said if you don't pay me up front, I have to leave". I don't know the background either! Guy shows up and makes me out to be a deadbeat? I've got a problem with that.

They are reliable and we have used them since we purchased the house over thirty years ago. We have never had any issues. I will recommend and use them, again.

They were punctual and professional! The service worked well.

Great. Bought a new townhouse and saw a couple roaches. They came out promptly, very informative and helpful so I scheduled year round protection. They notify me a couple days in advance and the technician was on time. I have no complaints... great, reliable service.

Their mosquito spraying usually lasts one month, if not, they come back and re-spray.

We sat on the back deck and were never bothered by mosquitoes.

My technician, Chase, was conscientious and thorough in his work, courteous in his attitude, and efficient with his time. He took especial care to explain his procedure and to address my concerns. Will request him for service whenever he is available.

They were punctual, followed through and I had no mosquitoes all summer for $150! Well worth it. Other services I looked at were $300-400.

They provided 3 treatments and everything worked out fine.
