Based on our AAA rating with the Better Business Bureau and 4.8 Stars on Google + we deliver on that model the vast majority of the time. Our installers are top notch and 2-3 weeks from order to install is pretty aggressive. Sounds like some hand offs were missed. Appreciate the feed back though - its how we continue to improve and make our business system and processes better and better."
"Ms. [Member Name Removed] shutter functioned properly. The manufacturer had explained that the louvers close tightly in the down position, but because of the center tilt rod, they cannot close tightly in the upward position. This was the design of the manufacturer, not a defect. This was explained to the customer, but unfortunately she could not be satisfied. The shutter came from Norman Intl, which is the worlds leading shutter company and is widely sold by many window covering companies ,not just Budget Blinds. I'm not sure why she placed this review two years after her purchase."

Budget Blinds of Raleigh/Wake Forest and recommend the company with no
reservations. We've dealt with many service providers over the 20+years
we've lived in our home, and the experience with Budget Blinds was by the
best!. The owner of the company not only provided us with a very
competitive price, but also extended significant time counseling us wisely on
product options.
We competitively priced the job with several companies and we
found the Budget Blinds quote was the best option. We were not to be
disappointed. The installation of the blinds was flawless and the owner
proactively followed up with us to ensure the job exceeded our expectations.
We only wish Angie's List had an A+ rating to rate this company.

In addition to the problem on the french door, the business had to come out multiple times to take measurements. Again, not able to take care of basic service requirements without inconveniencing the homeowner.
When I attempted to order balloon valences for the breakfast room windows to dress up the matchstick blinds, neither the owner not the sales rep demonstrated sufficient expertise in the process. Two visits were required. Then, I was told I would need to order 9 yards of fabric for just the decorative ties for the 5 balloons. I knew this was WAY too much fabric. Clearly, they did not have any expertise in this area. I went with another vendor for the valences and was very pleased.
Finally, the second order of shutters for the upstairs windows which was submitted 12-4-13 were not installed until 3-3-14. I kept inquiring when all the shutters would be in and was told there was a single panel that had not arrived. I wanted to just have a single installation date but I finally told them to come install regardless of whether the last panel had arrived. It turns out all the panels had indeed been in the warehouse but noone went to actually inspect if all the boxes were present. As a result i waited almost 30 days longer than necessary.
Clearly, this franchise is unprofessional and I cannot recommend them to anyone in the area. My advice is to "steer clear."

Unfortunately, in rare occasions there is the job that nothing seems to go right. We tried our best to work with the manufactures and educate our clientele about our products before they are hanging in the home. We are sorry you are unhappy with this very complex project but I hope you are at least happy with the finished products and you find peace."
