Brothers Cleaners

DON”T TRUST BROTHERS CLEANERS! My family has used Brothers Cleaners exclusively for 43 years. Unfortunately this year several experiences lead us to switch to Popes cleaners which we have been thoroughly pleased with since then. I brought my wedding gown to Brothers Cleaners to be cleaned and preserved. They returned it to me with wrinkles and new stains. I drew it to their attention and they send it back to the cleaner who then returned it with the same problems. I went over the details with the owner and we agreed to let the cleaner try one more time. When I received the wedding dress back the third time with wrinkles and stains that were not there when I gave the dress to them the manager and employees at the store agreed that it was in dismal shape that they would not accept themselves. I finally spoke with the owner Tom who wanted me to let the cleaner try again. I said that given my three experiences I did not want to do that and expect a full refund. He granted that. Afterwords I received a shirt back with a new hole in it. I again drew it to the stores attention and they were more than gracious and understanding. They ask for the replacement value which was $165. The store manager called me and with embarrassment And stated that the owner Tom would like to give me only $80 as the shirt had been cleaned by them several times before. I told her at that point that my trust in the company was broken and that I would be switching along with my family to Popes cleaners. I said that if The owner thought that the response of integrity was to give me $80 for shirt they ruined and I would have to replace that, was enough indication to me about the quality of Brothers Cleaners at this time. I spent over three months waiting for the dress to be cleaned and returned with many unkept promises that the owner would call and talk with me. I have always had exceptional service from the people at the N. Hills and Pleasant Valley stores-both managers and employees. However if this is the attitude of the owners of the company, I no longer trust them with my regular clothes much less treasured items. I hope this helps anyone else avoid a similar disappointment and damage to their heirlooms

Work was done on time and they were very friendly. I was warned that the drapes might fade if they try to get out the stains on the bottom. The last thing I ask was if they were going to treat them with anything extra or just use regular cleaning process. Just the regular was the reply. Well, one panel faded and one didn't. It is very disappointing to have them not match any more.

They were excellent all the way. I used them after my major renovation works. I will use them again.

The items were clean but the pressing was terrible. I had to repress all items as I did not have time to return items before getting on a flight. I did not check the items when picking them up as they were placed directly into my car by staff. Two items i was able to correct myself but one item was pressed so poorly I could not correct. I talked to owner who offered to reclean and press my items for free. My pants were pressed correctly but nothing else was. One suit lapel was press with the fold ending at my upper chest instead of by the buttons, one shirt was pressed with the seam showing and the second shirt with a special attention tag was still pressed incorrectly. When I contacted the owner again, he laughed but said they would correct the items. I will never use them again. I am still extremely surprised they messed up my items even with special attention on them.

I use them for dry cleaning and some laundry.

They have a pick-up and delivery service and I like that. They have more locations. They are very courteous people. They are very nice to deal with. I don't know how to compare their price since I have never used anybody else. The quality of their work is very good. I would use their services in the future too.
