We have used Bone-A-Fide since 2014 to care for our two large dogs while we have been traveling, sometimes for 2+ weeks, and have always found their care, love and attention to be fantastic. We have peace of mind that our dogs and house are being looked after while we are gone. Kato runs an excellent business and you feel like part of the family because you get to know who is caring for your pets. Our dogs always loved the two carers who came to look after them.

Edna and Laura are absolutely wonderful! The pups love to see them and they always send sweet text updates letting me know how they are. I am able to focus better at work knowing my pups are being taken care of and loved on during the day.

They were AMAZING. Seriously. My kitties and I are super bonded, and I can get super stressed leaving them for longer than a day or two (the older one nearly died from sudden seizures when she was a kitten, so it's especially hard for me not to worry about her). I will NEVER leave them with any service other than bone-a-fide. Before you leave, they put safeguards in place to ensure that if something happens (inclement weather, pet illness, etc.) everything can be taken care of, even if they can't reach the owner. You can get daily updates on your pets if you ask, and they sent me some great pictures, too!! Everything was neat and orderly when I got back. I never once felt nervous about having them in my house. What really stuck with me, though, is how well they got to know my cats. This clearly wasn't an exercise-feed-clean-get-out job for them. By day two, the daily notes started to show that she totally got their personalities (stuff like "It's so funny... Phoenix wants to lovingly pat the toy, and Esme just wants to kill it! But somehow, they still play nicely together and share the toy.") This is literally the only time I've left my cats with any service, friend, or family member and NOT gotten stressed out about how they were doing. I will use them again in an INSTANT.

Bone-A-Fide is WONDERFUL! They care for my shih tzu adult dog and puppy with such care. I trust them to enter my home while I am away, walk and play with my dogs and them lock up my home. I've never had a problem or complaint! I am very pleased with their professionalism but also the love they give my 2 girls!

We are thrilled with Bone-A-Fide! They took excellent care of our dog. We have a 2 year old Bernese Mountain dog with some anxiety and a lot of energy. These pet sitters are loving and caring and go out of their way to make your pet feel loved and secure while you are away. They keep you updated on their visits and treat your pet like they are their own. We love the staff and are thankful for their services!

I have been using Bone-A-Fide Pet Care for almost a year now. They started walking my dog after surgery in late 2017 when I was unable to manage the walks. The owner, Kato and the walker, Edna were outstanding to work with. They accommodated every need I had with my 80 lb yellow lab from scheduling to rescheduling walks when needed to suit my dog and me. Edna took my dog to the vet for treatments before I could begin driving again. She and my dog bonded immediately and I was totally pleased with her care for him. He eagerly looked forward to Edna’s walks 3 days per week and her kindness and outstanding enthusiasm for her work. This is a superb service that I continued long after I was able to walk my own dog again given how well Edna and my dog enjoyed each other’s company. Edna was with me on the recent morning I had to say goodbye to my dog due to cancer and I couldn’t have asked for better support. I highly recommend this company. You will have an outstanding experience!

We are so happy we found Kato and Bone-A-Fide Pet Care to take care of our cat. Signing up with her service was easy and it's impressive to see how organized she is with paperwork and billing. While we're gone she updates us daily about her visits including photos of our little darling. She gives such good care that our cat doesn't even seem to notice we were gone!

Anong took great care of our cat while we were away. We got daily updates with pictures and had a daily log waiting for us when we returned. I'd definitely use her again.

Perfectly. I’ve been using Bone-A-Fide for over a year now so I can now leave an ‘experienced review’. They are not like the others: Kato runs a very professional service. Yes, there are a lot of questions to answer and paperwork to do when you sign-up for service, but everything has a purpose and you’ll be glad you went through the process so then, when you leave your pets in their care, you know they’re in good hands. They keep you updated, follow through and go beyond the extra mile if needed (if you have pets you know what I mean). The only limitation is that she has a limited coverage area but if you’re lucky enough to be within it, you won’t find any better!

As always, Kato' s team did an amazing job! While we were away they contacted us and sent pictures every day. When our older dog had eye issues and our younger had a skin rash, they took the dogs to the vet, took care of the issue, and communicated regularly and completely with our daughter who was the emergency contact. I only was told after all had been resolved. I will never use any other firm to take care of our dogs!

Bone a Fide is like family to our family! We could not have found a better pet service. We have had them care for puppies, an elderly dog, a kitten that was adjusting to our established dog and they have been amazing in every scenario. In the past year, we have had situations that have required us to be away at a moments notice and we receive immediate response that our pets will be cared for. We receive daily updates and know that we can call them for anything while we are away. We are so fortunate to have them care for our pets. If there were an A+ rating we would most definitely rate them A+

My furbabies love their visits from Bone-a-fide! I love Bone-a-fide because I can count on them to be there and give my pups the attention they miss so much while I'm away. My babies receive 30 minutes of love, attention, and playtime each visit. They even get to eat lunch and put a little something in their bellies to hold them over until I get home from work. Sonya, their BFF from Bone-a-fide has taken the time to bond with them and has gotten to know them well. She sends me text messages and leaves thoughful notes after each visit. Kato, the owner/operator, is a consummate professional and runs a high class service business. My furbabies and I highly recommend Bone-a-fide pet care.

Great, Kato and Sonya have taken care of my pets, and they are great caregivers. The pets are totally at ease with them. I like how they send me texts and photos of the pets every day. Also, they bring in my mail and papers and do other things to make sure my home is secure when I am gone.

I contacted a total of 3 sitters from Angie's List. One never responded. One responded 2 days later. Kato responded within a couple of hours. All 3 of my dogs were adopted and came with issues. One had heart worms and had to go through another treatment so I had to keep him quiet and calm. He would get super upset in his crate or left. One wasn't housebroken and would chew on everything so I had them with me 24/7 for months. So naturally WE didn't want to be apart. I had to be out of town for a day and was so worried. Kato and Margaret went above and beyond for me and my pups. Very professional and very caring about me and my pups. I think I needed more TLC than my them! I received pics and detailed info about their time together. The pups and I were very happy that we chose Bone-A-Fide. I am so at ease now I might take another trip.

Kato and her team are just phenomenal! The attention to detail is amazing. We felt so xomfortable leaving our two dogs in their care. They texted us photos of our happy pups and left wonderful and very funny notes after each visit. The noticed the plants were dry and watered them as well as bringing in the mail. Such great service- and they are delightful people.They are the best dog sitters we have ever had and we will definately use them again! Treat your pets with this great service!

We've used Kato and Hillary for over a year now for vacations to pet sit our Akita. He absolutely loves having them come and visit him throughout the day. No stress for him and no stress for us! I recently used Bone-A-Fide pet sitting services for the first time with my two cats. I have used other sitters and I have found it hit or miss in the quality of care. This time it was different. Bone-A-Fide was extremely professional and conscientious at all times. During the first visit both Kato, the owner, and your pet sitter, in my case Sonya, meet with you in your home. They were very professional and detailed about my pets and their needs in setting up the account. It was reassuring. Sonya cared for my two girls for a week and I can't possibly say enough positive things about here. She took care of my girls just like I would and texted me with videos and pictures at each visit. She set up secret treats in hidden places, played with them and administered eye medication as well as their basic care. In addition, the city experienced heavy rains and flooding during our absence and she checked the house. But what really stood out was just how nice and truly kind she is. After the first contact with her I never really worried like I normally do. I have since the first trip used Bone-A-Fide again and it was again excellent. ?

They were great. My dog was happy and calm when we returned home. When we leave him in kennels he is exhausted and stressed. They treated them great, left detailed notes, kept our house secure, and really cared for our pets. they obviously love animals so we will continue to use them.

I cannot say enough about Bone-A-Fide! This team has truly gone above and beyond for our pup and us. We started out with daily walks for our 1-year old energetic Bichon, and have had them stay overnight with her as well when we have been out of town. In both services, Edna, Kato, and Hillary have gone way beyond what was expected of them. Edna was our pup's main daily companion, and she even made a binder of "Maggie's walk/play date stories" - SO adorable and a fantastic way for us to get an update on how Maggie did each visit. Kato and Edna were fantastic about changes we had in the schedule from time to time, many of which were unfortunately last minute. They handled each situation with professionalism, great attention to detail, and were always personable. It was clear when we came home that our pup was well taken care of while we were gone. At Christmas and even random days during the year, Edna and Kato spoiled Maggie with treats and toys, and spoiled us as well!! Recently, I went into labor weeks early and had an unexpectedly long hospital stay, and not only did Edna, Kato, and Hillary spring into action to help get someone in place to care for Maggie until we were discharged, they spoiled our pup and checked on us too. Even though we have ended our daily visits for the time being, we still regard this team as top notch and part of our support network! Highly recommend to anyone in need of pet care!

I feel 100% confident leaving my pets in Kato's care while I'm away. She sends me the cutest photos of my cats via text and lets me know they are well and happy. She also leaves a detailed report of each visit and a thank you card on the final visit. Kato was willing and able to give one of my cats eye drops while I was out of town. It was a big relief to know that was going to be handled while I was away.

Our dog is on a special diet and several medications due to gastrointestinal and allergy issues. Stress makes these problems worse. The Bone-A-Fide sitter took wonderful care of him. The sitter not only left us with written notes from each visit but sent us text messages and pictures of our dog daily (for 6 days). We could see from the pictures how happy our dog was and the text messages reassured us that our dog was doing fine and was in good hands which allowed us to enjoy our time visiting our family. Our dog was just as healthy when we got home as he was before we left so we know that any stress he may have experienced while we were gone was negated by the loving care he received from his sitter.

I could not be more pleased with the service provided by BoneaFide Pet Services. We travel within the country and internationally without worry for our cats, each with very different needs. Daily visit status reports are always provided. Also, our house is well monitored during our absence. We remained well informed and had peace of mind even while away during hurricane Matthew!
