Bob Medlin Home Inspections

I found Bob Medlin and Associates on Angie's List when looking for a Home Inspection Service for a home I was considering for purchase. I contacted them about the cost since I was paying for this inspection out of my own pocket and was given what I considered to be a very competitive estimate.The questions a submitted via email were answered very quickly and thoroughly and we scheduled the inspection. Jimmy arrived right on time and got to work. His examination of the house was methodical and very detailed and included a termite inspection for an additional nominal fee.
When the job was completed he discussed his findings with me and emailed me a full report spanning 24 pages of information that included color photos of any problem areas that he identified.
I found this company to be highly responsive, very professional and competitively priced.

Very thorough, good communication and prompt reporting.

I'm a buyers' agent and have used Bob since 2005. Listing agents have called him and quot;too thoroughand quot;, which is great for my buyers! He examined a very old property for my clients, inspecting everything he could get to, from masonry wall foundation and piers, all the way to the roof and surrounding vegetation affecting it. He recommended follow-up with specific contractors on some specialized items. He's professional, courteous, non-alarmist (he's been doing this for a long time), always on time, and prompt with reporting. He is also accessible after the inspection for follow-up questions. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for an experienced eye, a thorough examination, an expansive knowledge of homes, and a prompt report. He's a licensed GC as well.

Excellent experience. The report contains valid and nontrivial information with photographs that provide context. He saved me from a bad purchase, and that was priceless.

He was responsive however, he missed a couple of items that were wrong with the house. For the price that he charged, I expected a lot better.

Mr. Medlin was prompt, courteous and thorough. His report was very detailed and he was able to answer all the questions I asked. He responded to emails and voicemails quickly and was always willing to help me.
