Everything went well. I think that the design of the structure was good, although their prices were very high.

Things started out with some miscommunications between the owner and the staff. They showed up with all of their own materials and I had to show them the contract and let them know to come to me with any questions. After that things ran perfect. These workers did an awesome job building the whole thing and if they were still working for this company I would have them come back and do other jobs for me anytime. They were absolutely fantastic.

This was very good experience with this company as well as the subcontractors who were on the job. I really enjoy the space on my porch and it is well lit. The construction is super sturdy with the foundation under it. The floors are very stylish and heavy duty. We have nothing but great opinions of this company.

My wife and I loved the owner's sales pitch: Cost-plus, with all workers and subs clocking in and out at the site. Full documentation. Past customers spoke well of him. He gave us an estimated cost range of $110,000-$123,000 and a mid-point of $116,000. "Gut feeling," he said, "it will be below mid-point." Design phase involved many emails as a designer replicated my scaled drawings with a CAD program and we made a few tweaks. Then all the subs came and we got to meet them (nice touch). Finally, though, after several months of working together, we met to finalize the construction contract. We spent 2 hours going over all the details before he showed us the NEW bottom line. Suddenly, and without warning, the cost had grown from $116,000 to $175,000. And, worse, most of the subs' (non-competitive) bids turned out to be fixed-price, not cost-plus as advertised. We were extremely disappointed to have to terminate the contract and start all over.

WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED WORKING THEY CAME BACK AND INSTALLED ANOTHER SHELF FOR ME RIGHT AWAY THE NEXT DAY JUST BECAUSE I CALLED THEM. THE SHELVES THEY MADE LOOK GREAT.
