The group arrived on time and quickly set to work. The work to take down the trees was done carefully so as not to damage other plantings. The smaller logs were stacked neatly for our firewood next season and branches were chipped and left in a pile for mulch the next spring. They even agreed to chip up a small pile of branches we had from deadfall. I called Bryan back to look at some of our foundation plantings and we have signed on to their pest management service this spring. So I have definitely hired them back again and highly recommend their tree and shrub service.

They were prompt and did an excellent job, on everything we had agreed to. There was some damage to neighbors gutter that was not noticed until neighbor returned home next day. At first the lead on the job denied that there was damage. I'm fairly sure he was unaware as it occurred when he was at the top of a tree taking down sections. Project Manager came out and looked at damage and agreed immediately that his crew was responsible. He paid neighbor for fix based on neighbors self obtained quote. Would prefer no damage, but they accepted responsibility and took care of it quickly, very responsive.

The arborist took the time to explain basic tree and shrub care to prevent further problems. Will use again.

Everthing was excellent. The estimate and work was extremely professional. They removed the tree and all debris.

iThe service has not yet been scheduled, however Bartlett has provided tree service for us for the past several years. We hired them to ensure that none of the trees, which are part of an old parcel of Duke forest, did not pose any possibility of falling and damaging our home. They have performed bi-annual inspections, treated our crab apple trees for infestation, and proactively saved our pines from the recent beetle infestation. They have removed dead or dying trees, and in general, ensured the good health of our property's trees and shrubs.

They showed up when they were scheduled. One time I had a concern about a large, dark area on the inside of a branch that had fallen out of the diseased tree and Allen came out right away to check it out. He is very responsive with any questions or concerns.

The company is competent and responsive. If I have any problem to report,, it is that the representative has changed twice in the past few years, requiring that a new relationship be developed after each change.

I have a grove of Norway maples that don't normally grow here. They are older and stressed, but, they are tended by experts from Bartlett and I hope to keep them all for a long time. Bartlett also has precision removed several loblolly pines that were just feet from the house, leaving not so much as a mark on the ground. Amazing to watch, reassuring to know.

They were very professional and did a wonderful job. Mr. Day gave us very good advice on how to trim some trees so that we didn't have to remove them. Nice folks!

Each of the projects went extremely well. Bartlett's people are highly experienced and professional. The company places a high premium on safety for both their employees and for everyone and everything on site. They come on time, address the work and then leave having cleaned up any debris. The experience from the initial contact, estimating and the job itself is really great. Bryon Lowrance, the company's principal contact person who comes to assess the work, provide estimates and then make sure the service has been properly completed is both proesssional responsive and a pleasure to work with. He really cares about the job and that it is done right. One of Bartlett's strengths is that they own their own equipment, something that is not true for many others in the business. That impacts positively on price .

Service was completed within a week of initial visit and provided work estimate. Bartlett people were punctual, polite and professional during their four hour stay. Work was completed to my satisfaction, all cut and trimmed limbs were removed, and the work area was left clean. I really can't comment on the pricing since I only talked with the Bartlett people due to their fine Angie's List rating, and my desire to deal with a service that provided a arborist consultant.

We have been on a yearly contract with them for about 8-9 years. All the services, inspections and treatments are laid out in a yearly contract along with approximate completion dates for each. At each visit they perform an inspection of all landscape and treat as needed for bugs, fungus, etc.. They send a detailed report of their inspection findings and the applicable treatment they performed. They also do a deep root feeding each spring. We have been extremely happy with their services. Our landscape has never looked better. In the hottest of summers, our trees and shrubs look healthy and continue to grow because of the care they are given throughout the year. Our dogwoods hardly ever show a lot of powdery mildew. Whenever we have had concerns or questions about a particular shrub or tree, we just call the office and an appointment is scheduled for them to come out to the house. We have been extremely pleased with the care our landscape has received from these knowledgeable and professional people. We highly recommend them.

We use Bartlett for all of our tree needs. They perform an annual assessment of our trees and make recommendations. Several trees are fed and treated on an ongoing basis. The results are noticeable. Trimming work has also been excellent.

We used Bartlett some years ago and it did not go well. This time the whole process went very well from the time the scope of the job was determined to the completion of the work. We would now definitely recommend Bartlett to others.

The response to our call was immediate and a date for an estimate was set up. Robert Day came on time and gave us advice and an estimate. Once we decided to go forward with the project, a date was set. Mr. Day was there to ensure that the workers knew the details of the project. The crew arrived right on time and were soon in the trees doing their work! The crew leader, Jared, was courteous and had us inspect the completed job to ensure our satisfaction. They worked quickly and upon completion, blew off the yard and deck, leaving it cleaner than when they arrived! We will definitely use Bartlett for future tree work!

I thought Bartlett Tree Experts was very good. They were very professional, prompt and knowledgeable. The tree removal went well. They cleaned everything up and took it out. It was fine. We couldn't plant a tree directly over that spot, because not all the stump came out, but they do tell you to a certain depth. They did do that and they covered it back up. They did a good job. They're pricier than other people, but they run a whole gamut of services and they probably have a big overhead. They were a little busy, so they couldn't get to me right away, but they definitely made a very big effort to get out to my house as soon as they could.

Jeff Kish knows his plants and trees. He always has useful suggestions about plantings and about how to care for our more mature planted areas. HIs team of workers are very professional and I have often left the house, even when they are doing major work, knowing when I return, the work will have been done as planned and the property left immaculate. I highly recommend them.

Our insurance provider threatened to cancel our policy if we did not remove several large limbs that were over the roof of our house. I received a quote from one other company and Barlett's was slightly lower. A third company was slow to send someone by, so I cancelled with them. However, the lower price wasn't why I chose Bartlett. Their arborist, Allen Jones, did a better evaluation of what needed to be done with a large oak, which sits fifteen feet from our house, than the other company's representative. In addition to the pruning and tree removal, they cut the downed trees into 12 to 15 inch length for our fireplace. We kept the mulched from the limbs for our planting beds. A pleasurable experience. Very friendly and profession people.

I stopped a sales rep in our neighborhood who was about to provide an estimate for a neighbor. He was very cordial and immediately came to my property to give me an estimate on removing 3 trees and trimming and shaping numerous others. I agreed to the estimate and he scheduled the work immediately. They showed up exactly on schedule to perform the work. They did exactly what I requested. They removed all debris, not even a leaf was remaining. They left without a trace. When I returned home from work I couldn't even tell they had been there, except that the work was done to perfection. There were not even any equipment tracks in my grass. I couldn't have been more pleased. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Jeff Kish came out, evaluated the trees, and wrote up an estimate for the service. We had used his service about 6 years prior and were pleased with the work then, so he had him come again. The office contacted us to set up an appointment for about one week out. Then they had a cancellation from another customer and were able to come out sooner. Two crew came out to do the work and were on time. They were courteous and efficient. I had to leave the house and they continued the work and cleaned up everything.

Robert Day came by to offer an estimate for the service which was to be performed within the next two weeks. He sent me an email to confirm the scope of work and the pricing. We settled on a Wednesday to have the work done. The workers arrived early and asked me to remove vehichles which I would be needing for the day. They began the work on trimming out a large hardwood tree which had been struck by lightning last summer. I was told that Robert would arrive shortly. When Robert arrived we went over the particulars of the trimming. The work was done in a professional manner - as expected - I had used Bartlett in the past. Robert has been easy to work with and honest with pricing.
