August Precision

I called August Precision to schedule detailing for our 3 vehicles. I spoke with Marshall on Wednesday and he scheduled us in for Saturday morning. Originally he was going to come to our house to work on all 3 vehicles, but the weather did not cooperate. Lucky for us, one of their locations is less than 5 miles from our house. So through texts, we switched the plan and we dropped off two of our vehicles in the morning. When they were done, Marshall texted us and we traded out for our 3rd vehicle. He then detailed that one, and once again texted us when done. It was a very easy process and Marshall was very accommodating to our schedule. All 3 vehicles were detailed magnificently. Marshall and his crew and very professional and friendly. I will definitely have my vehicle detailed there again or possibly at my home if the weather cooperates. Marshall offered to wash all 3 vehicles for free again, since it was raining when we picked them up. I would highly recommend August Precision for all your detailing needs!

My car had swirls in its appearance from a botched detailed job by another company. The guy at that company did not know how to use, nor even should have used, a power buffer. At August Precision, my car was washed and then Bryan of August Precision worked professionally and carefully to get the swirls outs with a buffer. He knows when and how to use a buffer correctly, and the materials to use. The swirls were removed. My car was also waxed, and the inside cleaned/vacuumed completely, per the selected service. When completed, my 5 year old car looks as good as they day I drove it from the new car dealership. One comment for if you go your first time: this is not a drive-thru, in-out carwash. They take the time to be thorough and appear to treat each car like its their own, so while you are investing money in a service, whatever it is, be comfortable in waiting a bit for them to do the A-1 job they will deliver. I would not now entrust my detailing or even a simple wash to any other firm.

Although I didn't ask for a detailed cleaning because of pricing, I was very satisfied with what was done (see above). I am preparing this car for sale and now it looks brand new inside and out! Thank you Marshall August Waddell! I've recommended you to my friend today.

The crew, which consisted of 3 people, was very responsive, polite, and easy to work with. Very nice guys all around. Two guys worked for well over 2 hours (almost 3 actually) getting the shine back. They used the minimal amount of abrasive possible to keep the original paint's integrity. They paid great attention to detail, and gave the truck a total exterior cleaning, including wheels and tires. They removed many scratches that had built up over time. They waxed the truck after compounding out all the oxidation, scratches, etc. They have free snacks and wireless for those who wait, which I did. Facilities are clean and new. I would highly recommend August Precision based on this experience, and plan to use them again. They are a first rate operation.

The August Precision crew did a great job on our 2 cars (1 2000 Saturn sedan and 1 2006 Ford Escape). I emailed them to schedule an appointment a few days in advance and they came out to our house to do the work. The cars had never been detailed before and were in pretty bad shape -- lots of dirt, stains and grime from years of lugging messy kids everywhere. It took them (there were 3 guys on the crew) about 2 hours per car but they made them like new again. I was definitely impressed! They had gotten stains out (likely from smushed food or spilled drinks) that had been set in there for years. My wife even baked them some cookies to make up for how gross the cars were (although I'm guessing those guys have seen worse). I definitely recommend them if you need your car detailed. Thanks!

They service was fantastic. He came out as scheduled and came to the house. He perfected the cleaning of the car. I am very particular about my car, and he took such good care of it. I was very impressed with his service. We are planning on using him again.

I highly recommend August and his crew. They spent over 4 hours working on 2 vehicles that were beyond disgustingly dirty. They now look and smell brand new!

I called Marshall on a Thursday and he answered the phone within 3 rings. I told him what I wanted (full detail on my Toyota Tacoma) and he quoted me a price over the phone. I agreed to the price and then we scheduled the job for that Saturday. This quick response pleased me greatly. He said he'd arrive around 1:30 and told me he'd call on his way over. Saturday came and the crew was running a bit ahead of schedule, so Marshall called and asked if they could come early. This was more than fine with me. When they arrived, I greeted Marshall and his crew, all of whom were very friendly and polite. They got to work immediately, only needing to know where they could access electricity. After approx. 1.5 hours, one of the guys came to the door to let me know they were finished. I looked over the truck and was blown away by how clean and shiny it looked. The tires and trim were nice and black, the wheels were clean, and the truck body was waxed perfectly. The interior was equally impressive--the dash, glass, glovebox, cup holders, and every nook and cranny you could think of were spotless. Most importantly to me, the upholstery and floor mats cleaned up nicely and the truck cab smelled good. Overall, I was very pleased with all aspects of the service, will use them again in the future, and would recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent detail job by an owner/crew that is very polite, friendly, and conscientious. It is obvious to me that they take great pride in their work.

Made last minute decision to have dog-hair laden car detailed at my home. Called and they were here within a half hour. Did an excellent job getting rid of the hair. I know that it is not easy (blond dog hair on black upholstery). They were efficient, polite and pricing more than reasonable. Will probably go the mobile route permanently rather than taking my car in somewhere because of this experience. So convenient.

Marshall was professional, friendly, and eager from the start. I always feel good using Angie's list and Marshall's feedback was excellent. He came and looked over both cars, and really wanted to know exactly what I wanted done. I wanted my 2005 Acura TL detailed, and my Infiniti G35 to be touched up. It had sap on the hood that had gone through the clear coat, and major stains in the carpeting. Marshall, gladly agreed to do both, and he and his two men, who I must say are older professional, and really nice men, got to work. Marshall had me come out at various stages to look at the work and explain his processes; he takes great pride in his work, and I can see why. I would recommend Marshall to my mother and know he would be honest, and professional. These days it pays to get this type of service rather than run your car through a car wash with people who do a bad job and could care less if you are really happy.

This was an excellent experience for me. August did an incredible job. Not only did he make my car look better than it did they day I bought it, but he and his colleague did me an incredible favor and moved a 500 lb BBQ from my driveway to the back patio (about 1000 feet) completely by lifting! There were no wheels on this BBQ. This was obviously not part of the deal but he wanted to help me out and really stepped up. So yes, I'd use him again....and again....and again..... I love the way my car looks. My Mercedes is looking absolutely beautiful. And the BBQ is now in the back yard and family was able to enjoy it for the 4th.

This was my second time using August Precision and they are fantastic. They are prompt, incredibly reliable, very professional and do a fantastic job. I highly recommend them for detailing and cleaning your automobiles.

Using August Precision was a wonderful experience. It was easy to schedule and reschedule (there was rain on the day we were supposed to have our car washed the first time). Marshall was on time and very kind. The car looked fabulous when he was finished. I would certainly use this company again. My only disappointment was that when I started to put stuff back in the car I realized the truck had not been cleaned/vacuumed. This could totally be my fault as it may not have been included in the service however since I didn't realize this until Marshall was gone I could not ask. Either way, I vacuumed the area myself and was good to go. This would not/does not deter me from using August Precision again - I would recommend them to my friends.

Punctual, efficient, friendly. Got the nasty smell (rotten milk) out of my carpets for a good price. Great that they came out to our house. Highly recommended.

I emailed them and they got back to me in less than 24 hours. Even though they are in Durham and I am in Wake Forest about 30 minutes away they had no problem coming to my home and were able to put me on the schedule for the next day! They (3 gentlemen) were prompt, respectful, courteous and friendly. I told them this was my birthday present to myself and he wished me a happy birthday when he got here. You could tell they really take pride in their work and I am overjoyed with the amazing job they did. I have a hound dog mix that likes to drool and so that was all over the back of my seats and in the inside part of the 2 rear doors as well as the back window. They got all that off and believe me that is like GLUE!!! Also used my car to haul his stinky sweaty football gear in and with two teenage boys that made the car STINKY MESS. I was so embarrassed to drive anyone anywhere because of the smell in the car and the filth. They got rid of the stinky smell, and all the drool, dirt and spills. They spent a good 3 hours on my car and stuck to the quote they gave me over the phone for the complete service. He even told me what to use on my seats because stains show very easy on the material on the seats and they show up like SPOTs so it looks like they have been spilled all over but in actually I did it when I tried to shampoo them myself and couldnt get all the water that had pooled in the cushion up with my carpet cleaner. So he told me the product that would help with that. He did not try to up sell me or tell me he had to come back if the spots came back or anything .. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I hope to get custom seat covers soon, still cheaper than a new car! If you have a car that is well used and you just cannot stand the smell or the mess any longer please call August. I have priced other companies that will come out to your house and he was less and faster to respond and very cooperative. I was scared he would say that he could not come out to Wake Forest but he did, didn't even blink when I told him where I lived.

I called and they reponded within an hour. They were very flexible on a time, even on a weekend! August (and company) did detail work on my 10 year old car. It was very dirty after kids and 10 years worth of dirt. They did an amazing job...spent a lot of time, cleaned everywhere, found stuff that I didn't after a pretty thorough cleaning myself. Looked as good as new!

Marshall and Will did a great job. I called Marshall at noon and he was at my home in North Chatham by 1:00 pm. Impressive. Very professional, pride in their work and great work ethic. Highly recommend!

After looking for a car detailer on Angie's List, August Precision was the first company that I chose to contact... emailed my needs... Received a phone call back from Marshall's office... They scheduled a time for Marshall to come and look at the cars that I wanted detailed. Marshall arrived on time.... answered my questions about my new car... to see if it needed to be waxed like my other vehicles.... He said no, & gave advice on future timing for wax to keep it looking new..... Marshall gave a price per car, discounting for multiple cars.... I then chose to schedule Marshall for the job. Detailing for 5 vehicles was completed over two days, as scheduled..... Complete Detail/ Wax for: 3 SUV's , 1 Coupe....Wash only for 1 Sports Sedan. I could not be more pleased.... very professional..... amazing attention to detail..... couldn't have had a better experience... Marshall is on my "absolutely call again AND recommend to others list"! Car years were from 1995 to 2013.... all treated with the same care..... and had wonderful results. Great price.... and terrific value...

I called August Precision to detail my seriously in need pickup truck. This old 1991 work truck has never had a full detail. August came out on time and did a fantastic job, it almost looks new. Great job!
