Currently a one-man operation, Arborica specializes in landscape design and consultation for homeowners looking for direction with their property. Services can be as simple as one-time consultations or as elaborate as detailed construction drawings and project management. Arborica does not typically perform landscape installations. Rather, Arborica provides guidance and direction for the do-it-yourself types and plenty of references for those looking for a professional landscape contractor. Services are billed hourly at a rate of $60 per hour and the initial one hour consultation is free. Angie's List members get a 20% discount on all design work.

We installed the plan just as Arborica had designed. Jason oversaw the installation and worked with the company that he identified and negotiated a price for us. He solved our water/drainage problems, put in a path with a bridge and stepping stones and designed in plants that deer do not like and that we NEVER would have picked ourselves. We get so many compliments now on our yard and landscaping and our grandkids love to follow the path and cross the bridge and false creeks. We are EXTREMELY pleased. The overall installation cost about $16,000 plus the $1,000 for the design.
Description of Work: We contacted Jason Hannah and Arborica to draw up a comprehensive design for our landscaping in the front and back of our yard. We had an earlier design drawn and implemented but over the years we found it was very poor and did not reflect our tastes. Jason took our thoughts and preferences and put together a comprehensive design that we could go over in detail. He showed us pictures of the plants in the plan and gave us time to think about what we wanted to do. We made very few modifications to what he designed. And his plan was so different and so right for our personalities, tastes and family. His design was exactly what we wanted and needed, and not at all what we expected.
