Arborex Tree Services

Description of Work: Arborex removed ~6 trees, ground the stumps for each plus one for a tree that we lost in the last ice storm, and identified and trimmed the tops of 2 trees that had dead and dangerous tree limbs. I used them based on an Angie's List Big Deal ($219 for $500 services). Usman was incredibly responsive in setting up the appt, coming out for the initial consultation, and then bringing his team to do the work. Unfortunately, the stump grinder didn't work and they had to come back a week or so later to do that work. That said, Usman was great about keeping me in the loop and sending someone out as soon as he could. The only glitches were (1) the extra week (2) the guy who came to grind the stumps didn't inform us he had arrived (quiet sort), which would have been fine except that we learned after the fact that he'd tried to send the robotic stump grinder up our steep/wet front hill, subsequently leaving huge tread marks before learning to go around [this could have been avoided with communication] and (3) there is a 5% extra fee for paying with credit card. Be forewarned. Aside from these minor issues, we would use them again or recommend them to others. Cash in hand.

Description of Work: Removed small trees and underbrush in my backyard. Raised limb levels on several large trees to clear roof of the house and allow more sun in my yard | |Usman arrived when expected with well equipped crew. They worked well together and quickly to complete the job before the heat of the day. They all were very polite and respectful.

Description of Work: The mulch was as advertised, single shredded hardwood and it was a lot less expensive than getting double shredded. It fit my need and as it has aged it has a nice look to it. The company confirmed that I wanted the single shred mulch before delivering.

Description of Work: Usman and his team went above and beyond our expectations. He was prompt and thoughtful in our dealings with him. We had an Angie's list coupon good for $500 dollars of work but we asked him to give us an estimate for our "wish list" of other work to that needed to be done. His estimate was detailed and fair and he let us decide which options to select. We trusted him and liked his work ethic so much that we decided to do all the work on his estimate. He deducted the $500 dollar coupon from the total bill. They cut down several very large trees and hauled the brush away and ground the stumps for us. In addition, he limbed up several trees and removed some foundation plantings. The work and cleanup was done in a timely manner. Our neighbors even decided to ask for an estimate and he ended up cutting about a 4 story tree down for them at the end of the same day that he worked for us. We would highly recommend him and would use him again.

Description of Work: I had Arborex remove seven trees from my backyard. The trees were in a difficult location to get to, but the team did an excellent job. Usman was delightful to work with. He was responsive to all of my inquiries, and receptive to all of my questions. His team showed up early on the day of service and the work was done extremely efficiently. They clearly are experts in their field! When they were finished they left my yard in excellent shape. I will definitely be using Usman and the Arborex team again!

Description of Work: The crew of 7 men cut down 5 pines plus one that had fallen during a storm. Usman, the owner, had said they'd arrive at 9 am, but showed up at 8:30, which was great! Before they started, he reviewed which trees we had talked about taking down before and I agreed. Usman made sure the crew understood what was to be done and they got started right away. They are certainly a well-oiled machine! Usman said they had worked together for the last 9 years and it really shows; they are all cross-trained and can do any of the tasks required: climbing, roping, front-loader operation, etc. They also limbed up some branches around my driveway and removed the tree logs and debris. I can't say enough good things about them! I'd definitely use them again and would recommend to anyone needing this type of tree service.

Description of Work: I purchased a $69 Big Deal for 10 Yards of Natural Hardwood Mulch. I asked them to delay the delivery. They were flexible and agreed with what I told them.

Description of Work: We hired Arborex to remove some large trees in our yard that were threatening to fall during a storm and were either too close to the house or the driveway. They emailed me very quickly after purchasing their services via the "Big Deal". They were able to fit us in sooner than expected due to a cancellation. They did get caught in a major storm towards the end of the job and had to leave one of the trees down but did not remove it. I wasn't home at the time and I emailed them to ask if they were going to come back and they replied very quickly. They did come and remove the tree. Overall they were professional and very pleasant to work with - we would use them again!

Description of Work: Cut down a dead 80' tree that could've done serious damage to our house. They were on time, cleaned up and gone within 2 hours. With a little negotiating and our Angie's List deal the $1000 job cost us $550.

Description of Work: Thanks to the Angie's List big deal, I paid around $550.00 for $850 of service. They removed two dying very tall cypress trees, ground 3 stumps, trimmed up two over grown shrubs and cut the limbs that were touching the house from another tree. Mr. Ahmad was prompt with the estimate appointment, arrived with the crew on May 2nd to get them started and came back at the end of the work to make sure everything was done. All work was completed in about 2 hours and it was fascinating to watch.

Description of Work: Arborex Tree Services removed 9 trees from our back yard. Usman returned our initial email within a few hours and after coming out to give us an estimate was incredibly responsive to all of our follow up questions the next day. He and his team finished the work in record time, left us wood for firewood and mulched what we asked to be mulched. We could not have asked for a better experience and plan on using Usman and his team in the future.

Description of Work: We needed additional work done beyond the scope of what we purchased on Angie's List and the value received was excellent. Very efficient. Would not hesitate to recommend. Our neighbor heard what was going on, and they had a tree removed while the crew was onsite.
