Description of Work: Cleaned up large fallen branches from a storm. Topped a large eucalyptus tree that had winter damage. Cut down a 20 foot Hollywood juniper. All in a sudden downpour. I used a Big Deal so the cost would have been around $600.00 without. Highly recommend. Second year I have used this company.

Description of Work: We called Arborex this Spring after having a positive experience with them last year. Usman came out to help us develop a plan and gave us an estimate, and then we arranged for his crew to come remove one very large, very old Oak tree that was beginning to decay near the base, as well as trim several other trees, including a large Oak with a very heavy branch that sat above the roof. I offered to add to our agreed upon price if they would trim the smaller trees while they were at it, and Usman said they would take care of it at no additional cost. The crew did a fantastic job of removing an enormous tree and several large branches without damaging our property (the yard was torn up a little where the one tree was removed but that was expected). I left for work before the crew finished and when I returned I was disappointed that the smaller trees had not been trimmed, since I had been willing to pay extra for it to get done. Usman sent me a text to see if I was happy with the job, and I mentioned that the smaller trees had not been trimmed. He insisted they had, so there must have been some miscommunication somewhere about what I wanted done. In any event, we are very happy with Usman and Arborex and will continue to use them in the future. Usman is always willing to work with us to promote the health and beauty of our trees at a fair price.

Description of Work: I called Arborex about removing two trees in my yard. They were responsive & owner came out to meet with me. He was professional, a pleasure to interact with, and gave me a competitive quote. Work was completed as discussed in a timely manner. I would definitely use them again as needed, and have recommended them to my neighbors.

Description of Work: I used a big deal from Angie's List of $500 worth of tree work for $250, but knew I needed more work done that what $500 would cover. In order to open up sunlight and space for several Magnolia trees, dogwoods and Japanese maples, I had 4 very large pine trees taken down, and one was really two because it had split into two at the bottom, with one leaning towards my neighbor's house. This work was done efficiently, professionally, and with very little harm or intrusion on my yard and house. These were huge pine trees, one was taken down with the top touching the yard of my neighbor across the street. Usman's crew was ready and waiting for it to drop to immediately cut the top and lift it from my neighbor's yard so there was no damage or even hint of the top of the tree landing there. The other pines were even more challenging, needing precise removal between other values trees (dogwood and magnolia). We did lose a holly bush that Usman said had to be removed in order to take down the split pine, but they dug out the bush and replanted it the best they could when his crew was done. Because of the heat wave, we were not able to save it, but we can easily replace with an azalea in the fall. All in all, Usman is highly professional and his crew is excellent. Usman will work with your budget, and do the best work possible, I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They removed a tree from one property and 2 fairly large, dead branches at another property. I own both properties. The work was done very professionally. At one property, they could not remove the tree, so they cut it into pieces (future firewood). At the other location, there is no sign that they were ever there. Very clean work. They took a while, because they told me they are extremely busy. I would highly recommend Arborex.

Description of Work: Removal of 4 trees + with stump grinding (two huge trees, 2 small trees) |The largest tree was a VERY HUGE pine. It was half dead and leaning toward my house. I was worried because it was also over my leach field (and having it fall on the leach field could damage the pipes under the ground). They took great care to climb it and cut it in parts, ensuring nothing compromised the leach field. Removed the trees, and cleaned up very thoroughly. VERY happy with the work they did.

Description of Work: Bought an Angies Deal for around $200 for up to a $500 service. Owner was great, but I did have to make the initial contact. After that, they were able to fit us in quickly. They removed a skinny tall tree on top of the hill in our backyard. It was covered by the Angie's List coupon. Very professional and knowledgable.
