_ Made visit to property & provided written estimate on-the-spot. _ Estimate was quite reasonable. _ Crew showed up on time with the proper equipment & got busy. _ After 4 hours, the work was completed. _ The crew was very professional & cleaned up debris. _ I inspected & asked for a few more minor trimming. This was quickly completed. _ Overall, the job was completed as requested & on time. _ I would use again & recommend them to others.

After my initial phone call, they came to the house within a couple of days and provided an estimate for the work I wanted done. A cancellation in their schedule allowed them to come right away, with a full crew of men and equipment. They reviewed the work I wanted, discussed some possible options, and completed the job professionally and efficiently. Everything was cleaned up afterward, to the point you couldn't even tell that trees had been cut down.

We got an estimate of the work that we needed from Usman Ahmed, who noted that we really had some significant issues with some of our trees that we had not noticed. We thought we needed some light trimming but his experience came through in making significant recommendations that were very well thought out and reflected his understanding of trees and how to make them work better in our home. We agreed on a very fair price and arranged a day for him to come. He brought a crew of 7 and a large chipper. These guys were great and Usman managed the job extremely well. He and my wife and I went over everything in detail, and as things came up, he made recommendations and adjusted what was planned. It was a partnership that I had not experienced before. All of his men were very well trained and they dropped enormous limbs from a huge oak very carefully and did not disturb the plants underneath. He carefully trimmed two large cherry trees and they now look better than ever. And many smaller and mid size trees were removed. Other large trees were limbed up to make them much more enjoyable. I cannot thank him enough for the good work. Our home looks so much better from the street and our backyard has never been so beautiful. His training at NC State as an arborist came through in everything he did. I highly recommend him and his crew to anyone looking for great work and a fair price.

They came a week later than promised although they did keep me posted about the delay. The add said "hardwood mulch" but what I got was a freshly chipped tree that was mostly pine, which is not hardwood. There were pine needles and leaves all in it. It was not aged as the wood was fresh cut. I called to ask if they could take it back and they said no. It is still in my driveway aging. We will use it later this summer once the current mulch we have wears away.

Uzman, the owner, was extremely polite and respectful. His crew arrived in very bright - neon green t-shirts and quickly spread out to work. It was truly amazing how fast but safely they started climbing the trees. Everyone knew what their role was. They had a lot of equipment and expertly they put it to work. When the job was done, they spread out, like soldiers in the army, and thoroughly cleaned up my yard. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

Excellent communication and punctuality. More mulch than I would ever want! Having said that, I would certainly use them for other services.

Arborex was great to work with. They were very responsive, generally returning messages via Angie's List in a few outsWe had purchased one of their Big Deal offers, which we knew would only cover a portion of what we needed done. Usman came to look at the project within a week, and agreed that the trees I was targeting needed to go. He also suggested removing the fourth tree, and doing some limbing to help keep debris off our driveway. The costs he quoted for the entire project were reasonable, and they were able to come and do the work within a week. The project was completed in one afternoon, and the crew did a great job taking down limbs and trees with minimal damage to neighboring trees, and cleaned up all debris. We would highly recommend Arborex, and plan on using them again.

Susan, I wanted to let you know that we produce mulch on daily bases to deliver from freshly cut trees. This was our first time advertising the mulch on Angie's list for sale and it sold a lot more than what we had expected and a lot quicker than we had anticipated. They produce the mulch as they cut trees which if they do not ave enough business they do not have mulch to provide. They are offering a product they do not even have yet! I find this to be a bad business practice. ( offering a service/product they do not yet have ) and may not have if they do not have enough tree cutting business. Had I known this I would not have placed an order. My project is being held up and my ability to work on t his project is geared to the weather. They have had my payment since May 8, 2014 I would like a refund.

Mulch could not be delivered until almost three weeks after it was ordered. This was too late for our landscaping needs.

They were excellent and were right on-time.

They got back to me right away but they are not able to deliver the mulch anytime this month and I need it much sooner than that.

Arborex has a fantastic crew. They arrived on time, were clearly professional in everything they did. They were also incredibly efficient. They completed the whole job in 1 day. All trees were hauled, limbs chipped, yard cleaned up and all areas swept and blown of debris. And not just blown into our yard, but picked up and hauled away. In everything they did they demonstrated incredible respect for our property. They did nothing on our property, including protecting shrubs without consulting with us first. Great job and we will certainly recommend Arborex to anyone.

We walked around my yard and they quickly gave me an estimate for the work, making it a point to ask in advance how I'd gotten their contact information. Anticipating that they would price any Angie's List discount into the estimate, I told them that I didn't remember. When I was told the estimate was $500, I asked them if I would get a discount on the work if I were an Angie's List member. They told me that was their minimum job estimate and couldn't go lower. I then mentioned the $249 for $500 worth of tree service deal and was told that wouldn't apply to this job. I then told the representative that I didn't understand, because this was a $500 job and was simply told that they would lose money by doing my job for $249. I then got a second estimate and got the job done for $315. I think this is one of the problems with Angie's List deals, in that the discount is already priced into the price they give you for the job.

Very professional and even remembered that if they had a cancellation they could come sooner than the scheduled appointment. They did call and do the work two days earlier than planned. All work was completed to satisfaction and they even blew off the driveway and sidewalks before they left. We are so pleased that after 20 years in the Raleigh area we have found a tree service that we would call again in the future.

Arborex Tree Services (Usman Ahmad) responded immediately and made arrangements to do the work within a day or two due to the risk of roof damage from. He was very through and professional. His workers were diligent in completing the work and were very skilled. I was impressed that Usman took the time to explain how the work would be performed and was willing to answer all my questions. His workers cut limbs from trees overhanging house roof and removed a dangerous limb directly above the roof that was broken during a storm that was hanging on two other limbs. Immediate services were removal of dead branches over the house and 2 trees limbed up. They were thorough in limb removal and clean up. I highly recommend this service to others.

Arborex delivered the mulch and put it where we asked, which was close to a flower bed by our home. The service, etc., was excellent - our only disappointment was in the quality of the mulch. The deal was to deliver "natural mulch", which we assumed (and their description indicated) was "uncolored" mulch, which was certainly going to be acceptable to us. However, we did not realize that the mulch was going to be fresh mulch prepared the previous day. It was full of green leaves (Mr. Ahmad did tell me they would disintegrate quickly) with a large percentage of twigs and small branches. It would have been helpful to have known that the mulch they were delivering for this price was going to be in this condition. This "mulch" will certainly do the job of helping flower beds, etc., but we would have liked for Arborex to have been a little more upfront in their description.

So....two weeks goes by, i call and try to leave a message, but his mailbox is full. Almost 3 weeks later, he just shows up at my door in the morning!!!! with his cherry picker and his crew!!!!! I was getting ready for a doctor appointment and really didn't have time to get into it with this guy, which i explained to him. WHO the heck shows up without letting you know they are coming? "But I called and left a message an hour ago that we are coming!!!!!" What? One hour notice given while I am in the shower and you think this is proper notice? I am trying to get ready for my doctor's appointment here!" " Oh, don't worry, we don't need you here..." Excuse me??? No one is doing work with huge limbs that could damage my roof or siding without my being here!!! I explained how upset I was, i was getting ready for a doctor appointment, and " you know how ill i am, i could barely stand when you gave me the estimate, so you were aware of my physical condition...and you just appear out of nowhere and think someone as old and frail as I am should just be ready for you?" I'm so sorry it's not my fault! He exclaims... "HOW can it not be your fault??? You said you would do the work within two weeks, it's well over two weeks, almost 3 really and you decide to just COME? You don't apologize for putting me off, you do not call and explain at all during those weeks and apologize and explain you are going to be late? And on top of it all, you want me to pay you for the privilege of charging me $350 extra for you ignoring me?" What is it about your day not once yesterday or the day before, or the day before that, you had a window, knew it was coming and you couldn't call me to set an appointment? You do not have a secretary or anyone in an office where they can call me? Nope. He has no staff. I'm a small business. I wanted to say he's too cheap to hire a person to handle the customer relations side of his business, but I DID NOT, but it's obvious to me that customer service is not a priority with this man, making money is and not wasting it on stupid things like customer service. I started crying, I just broke down. Who acts this way??? He kept insisting it wasn't his fault. No, I guess not if you have a greedy mindset that puts off the small job and puts off the small job and puts off the small job because other bigger jobs came along. That's what really happened and I got lost in the abyss of his lack of integrity to honor his word. I told him I will not do business with him and I had to ask him to leave again and i just shut my door. I got to my medical appointment, come back and there is his phone number on my caller ID!!!!!!! What? He wanted to come back tomorrow????? Unbelievable. Whatever. Yanno? Fine. You want to do business with this guy go right ahead. BUT OBVIOUSLY DO IT WHEN THERE ARE NO LEAVES ON THE TREES.... your little property is not going to matter if push comes to shove and he gets bigger, better jobs along the way. Just saying.

Multiple trees were removed. The branches were turned into mulch.

While scheduling the service, they said that they could not move my tree until the fall when it becomes dormant. We will be moving before then so decided not to go through with the service. He was very upfront and honest so I appreciated that.

We were extremely satisfied with the professionalism of all involved. They arrived when they promised and performed the job exactly as promised. They cleaned up the debris and ground the limbs. They also left me an extra load of mulch that I asked for.

I saw the AL coupon for this provider and since I've been replanting my front beds and need mulch, I jumped on it. He responded quickly to tell me that he was overwhelmed with responses and had to take a few days to organize his schedule. Meantime, I had scheduled labor to spread the mulch around on a specific day… and the weeds were starting to come up in my beds! I almost cancelled the service and was going to buy from a different vendor but this wonderful man juggled things around to deliver the mulch at 8:00 at night on his way home from work. It was there when the gardener arrived the next day! Equally impressive was the quality of the wood chips, which were clean, beautiful hard wood, that will last for a long, LONG time! not ratty roots, or that ugly red fuzzy mulch that looks so industrial… this is beautiful, untreated, long lasting wood! I am so very grateful to this vendor for doing an OUTSTANDING job… and I guarantee that any tree work on my property in the future will be in his hands. He is very knowledgable and a gentleman, in every sense of the word.

Superb service. Timely and end product was excellent. Cleanup was a plus. They even removed a felled tree trunk with a trolley device to minimize impact on our lawn. Well done!

Excellent! We had a scheduling snafu, but those things happen. Usman, from Arborex, was very communicative and told me if and when he would be delayed. We agreed on the work, he performed it, was clean, quick and courteous. I'll definitely hire them again, and you should too!

Usman and his crew showed up early and got to work right away. I had some large and small trees definitely more trimming than the $200 deal I bought from Angie's list. Clean up was great and trees looked great after. I am preparing to sell my house so curb appeal is so important. He even made a second trip back to my house to trim a huge tree in the front that I decided I wanted shaped differently. They returned all my calls promptly and performed great work and clean up. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again in the future! Thank you Usman :-)

Usman arrived a week early to evaluate and mark the stumps. He arrived on the date of service and began the work. Unfortunately he had engine difficulty with the stump grinder, but had it repaired quickly and finished the job. He was professional, worked hard and did a great job. I would definitely use his services again.
