Arborex Tree Services

Service was as expected and Usman was pleasant to work with. I think the price was a little higher than I have paid before for similar service. But, all in all, a pleasant experience and I wouldn't hesitate to consider using them again.

Am very impressed overall. I reached out to Arborex as I recently purchased a home and the previous owners had let the many trees on the property become overgrown. Had some challenges/played phone tag connecting initially, but was pleasantly surprised when Usman came by to give a free estimate on a Saturday and was able to fit in the work that same day. He gave a fair assessment of the work needed, offered up some solid advice and things to consider longer term, and was not pushy at all. The pricing included an angie's list deal for work trimming back several trees on the property including significantly cutting back a sizeable (40 ft.) river birch and cutting down a large oak which was too close to the house (we chose not to remove the stump at this time). Usman, who remained on site for the job, and crew were unbelievably efficient (took a little over an hour), very respectful of the property, cleaned up branches from the roof and yard, and wanted to make sure we were fully satisfied before payment. It is clear Usman is very knowledgeable, runs his business well, and his team works like a well-oiled machine. He was also very pleasant to deal with from start to finish. I would highly recommend Arborex.

Arborex did a fantastic job removing trees for us. We have about an acre with a lot of really large trees, some that were in encroaching on our house, and others that blocking upcoming home improvements. Sixteen trees in total were to be removed, along with a few rotten stumps. We called Arborex and they came out assess the work. Very punctual and friendly. This was clearly a huge job and the quoted price was fair, and there were no surprise costs later on. Arborex arrived early on their scheduled work day with a large team. That day turned out to be a bit wet, and their team was extra careful to avoid damaging the lawn by lying mats under the vehicle tracks and such. We also had a number of smaller, newly-planted trees and foliage interleaved with the large trees that were being removed, and Arborex was somehow able to avoid damaging those -- awesome! One of the huge trees they removed was leaning near a powerline and they handled it carefully, segmenting the tree into many sections and taking it down slowly. We had one tree in the front that, over the years, had grew to touch the side of our house. We weren't sure if we would remove it, so we commissioned Arborex to try trimming the tree so we could see how it looked. We ended up asking them to remove the tree anyway, and they were happy to do it at no extra charge! All of the stumps were ground up and debris was removed. The entire job was completed in about 10 hours, and Arborex even worked through some light rain to finish it all. The yard looked beautiful after they had finished, as if the trees never existed!

We bought an Angie's List coupon and used it to have trees cut down in our yard. They did a great job and did not mess up our yard. Usman is a very nice guy and has a good crew.

We were very impressed with this company. They have insurance and sent us a copy ahead of time. They showed up for the appointment on time to give us an estimate. They offered a good price. They showed up to do the work and did a great job. A couple of the large trees were close to the house and they took them down without damaging the lawn or the house. They were nice and practiced safety. We wanted a company we could trust that would do a good job at a fair price and that had insurance. We highly recommend this company. The crew has been working together for 9 years and look out for each other. Teamwork is needed for this type of high risk work. Great job!

This company is run by an extremely competent and knowledgeable gentleman. He is hands on and was on site from start to finish. Further, his professionalism is obvious from the onset of the work to the finishing touches. An unexpected surprise was when he completed some work that was not even on our contract, just something he noticed needed doing on his way out. A very nice little touch for him, but something that would have cost us several hundred extra dollars if we needed someone to come back. I found him on Angie's list and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I have never taken the time to figure our how to do a POH on anyone but intend to do so this case. I a m a member of the BOD of the homeowners association of the Saddleridge subdivision. Finding a competent and reasonable source for our tree trimming (boy, do we have a lot of trees) was one of my first responsibilities. The owner of Arborex made very sure that I looked good in making his company my choice for our sub-division work. It sure is comforting to have someone you can trust for this kind of work.

Excellent work at reasonable price. Removed 3 30' cypress near neighbor's fence in section of backyard with other trees and retaining wall. Work was performed as scheduled while I was on travel. Would never have known the trees were there. No damage to yard, fence, retaining wall or other trees. Stumps completely ground down with no evidence, holes, or refuse. Highly recommend.

It was a little work to get the estimate and then work schedule. I think that happens often with a big deal purchase. Usmand was very friendly and did apologize for the wait. He come out to give us the quote and we agreed on price and work. His crew came out a few weeks later and did exactly what we discussed. The birch tree needed a good deal of work. The crew did a great job with clean up.

I have used many tree crews in the area when I worked and several since I have retired. Arborex is the best I have used. They are especially good at bringing down branches and trees when they must be brought down with great control and without causing any damage.

I am absolutely in awe of this company! I sent e-mail to Usman Tuesday evening, April 21st regarding our leaning dead tree. Usman was at my home Wednesday morning before 9 am to give me an estimate. He said he could do the job today and the price was very reasonable. He and his 7 man crew were prompt and at my home before 2 pm. The job was complete in 2 and 1/2 hours. I was given an estimate from another company which could not guarantee my building would not be damaged. Not only did the team cut down my trees, removed debris, cut some of the wood for firewood, stacked firewood, raked and cleaned yard, they did it without a scratch to my storage building or home. They also put my chain link fence back up that had to be taken down before the work started. These men worked very hard and without a break. They are true professionals and know exactly what they are doing. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use their service again!

I emailed this provider and set up a date to get an estimate to remove a dead willow tree. We had set up an apt to meet between 4-5 on Thursday March 26th. No phone call and no show. Set up again via email to come by Monday the 30th, and again no show. My time is very precious to me, so being home waiting around for a no show not once but twice, is a little ridiculous. Will never use them

Usman's service was absolutely EXEMPLARY! He performed the first task while I was out of town, and he called me when he found one problem we hadn't seen. He also cleaned up some broken limbs on a magnolia tree and took out a large broken bush--without charge. When I got home, everything looked pristine. All the limbs and scrubby stuff had been removed. But the piece de resistance was today's trip. It has been rainy and cold all day. When I called Usman about the newly offending pine, he said he had other jobs scheduled, but he promised to come out before day's end--rain notwithstanding. And so he did. He drove his crew from Clayton, out here to Orange County, arriving about 6:30 PM. And they did the deed. I liked Usman from the first time we met for the appraisal. He's calm and has a kind and competent way about him. I trusted him from the outset--and I'll never use another tree service.

Because we were so anxious about the large limb hanging precariously over our dog pen, Usman sent two of his workers out the very next afternoon, which happened to be a Sunday, to take care of it even though our appointment to get the entire job done wasn't for a week. When they came out to do the rest of the work, everything was very professionally handled, and they left the work site clear of debris. They even used a blower to get all the sawdust off of the grass. We are certainly satisfied customers and wouldn't hesitate to use Arborex again.

This was our second engagement with Arborex.Both experiences were positive. The crew is fast friendly and very efficient. Will use again.

I hired Arborex to remove 8 large trees hanging over the neighbor's garage. He and his crew did a great job to remove all the trees safely. They were scheduled to do the work in about a week after engagement, but Usman called and said they could fit it in sooner so he came one afternoon and got the job done. He was very responsive and sent me emails with pictures of the completed work when it was done. I found Usman to be very honest and responsive. I would hire Arborex again for future tree work.

They arrived as arranged, worked professionally and cleaned up the work site. This involved an Angie Deal plus an additional fee to do all the work. He provided verification of insurance coverage as I requested.

Usman met me at my house to look at the work I needed done. The deal was $219 for $500 worth of service. After looking at my job, he told me it would normally be a bit more than $500 but he would not charge me extra, which was very nice. It took his crew about a week longer to get my job done than Usman originally had told me, but I was not in a rush. They did a very nice job and I would call them again if I need tree work.

They did an amazing job on a big pine tree that was in dire need of trimming. They also cut up and removed a downed evergreen and also spotted a dead standing pine that had the potential of falling on the house. They cleaned up and ground the stumps. I'll be using them again in the near future to clean up the rest of the pines.
