Mr Ahmad returned my initial call promptly and came out to view the jobsite and give us his proposed estimate. We were able schedule within a few days. Team arrived right on schedule, reviewed what needed to be done and got to work. Team is definitely the right word as they all worked very well together, anticipating where, what and how each one's position impacted on the safety and efficiency of each tree removal. Arborex Tree Services arrived with the manpower as well as all the required equipment at the start of the project so no delay with each step. The stump removal went very quickly as well. Mr Ahmad has trained his team well. Not only did the job proceed smoothly, but in an amazingly short amount of time for the actual tree removal as well as a thorough clean up of each site. We were vey pleased with the professionalism of the company and the quality of the work done. This will be our tree maintenance company if needed in the future. We would highly recommend this provider.

Usman is great. Quick to respond, polite and professional, and kind. His crew is great. They were efficient (they were all done in less than 2 hours), and cleaned up after themselves. They made sure they were taking down the right tree and grinding the right stumps, as well as asking about any buried lines/pipes they might disturb. They were friendly and easy to work with. I'll definitely work with Usman for any future tree needs.

We became acquainted with Arborex and its outstanding crew through Angie's List, and we are thrilled. Usman and his highly professional and skilled team work so fast it is a wonder to behold. We are huge fans of Arborex Tree Service and the quality of their work and can't recommend them highly enough. The job went very well. Cranes could not be used in our back yard, so the 90 foot pine was taken down in sections by rope. The pine logs were hauled away, and all small branches were chipped into mulch for our usage. Arbox used 6 people on the job so it was completed (cutting and clean up) in 4 hours. Our primary contact was Usman Ahmad and he was very professional and easy to work with. The team was very efficient and raked up all loose debris. I would definitely use the company again. I trusted them. I enjoyed working with them, and they did exactly what we had agreed (and then a little more as they trimmed extra branches in nearby trees in our backyard).

I would highly recommend this company! Very professional with outstanding clean up. We felt like pricing was fair.

He makes promises but not follow through!!!

I highly recommend Arborex! I had a huge pin oak tree in my yard that was dying--it was dropping large limbs and becoming a danger to my house, my neighbor's house, cars and pedestrians on my busy street in Durham. Usman responded quickly with a reasonable estimate, and he and his team were swift and professional in taking down this enormous 120-year-old tree. There were lots of challenges--the power company could not remove a live power line because it was attached to a pole across the road, so they had to work around it. They even honored my wishes and were able to salvage a large old camelia bush that was in their way, even though they thought it might not be possible. They did a great job cleaning up, mulching or clearing away other debris in my yard that they did not create. They were a good team, worked hard, and got an enormous job done quickly and efficiently. I would hire them again!

It went VERY well. Usman (the owner) is not just a 'tree cutter'. He is an Arborist with the ability to look at the trees on your property and make suggestions with respect to which trees should come down and why. I had too many trees on my property and they needed to be thinned out. Usman was able to look at my situation and suggest how the removal of certain trees would promote the growth and well being of other trees which had a better chance of growing and filling out properly. Usman is extremely polite and intelligent. He was a pleasure to work with. The Arborex Crew was also amazing to watch. I almost felt like they could have charged admission to watch them work. They obviously have been together a long time as they seemed to know exactly what to do while being constantly aware of what their team members were doing and where they were. This is extremely important when you are felling trees that are 100 feet in height. They also did their utmost to protect my grass, driveway, sidewalks, etc as they were using a BobCat tractor to move the felled tree trunks. Oh, did I mention they were fast? Well, they are. I could not believe how quickly they got the job done. I will absolutely use Arborex again when the need arises.

Usman was very responsive from the moment we purchased a $500 Angie's Deal. His initial visit took place within in days. The quote was mid-range of the three quotes we gathered. The actual work was scheduled within ten days. The crew of eight plus a skid-loader arrived on time and jumped into the task with gusto. The trees were removed quickly and the crew wrapped up faster than anticipated. That speed was possible because the crew dropped large trees rather than topping them, as we thought we had agreed to (not 100% certain). They repaired the damage they inflicted on driveway drainage but we lost a couple of small landscape trees and had to fill several impact-induced trenches in the lawn. Overall, we were happy with the quote, scheduling and efficiency of Arborex.

It went very, very well. Arborex arrived early ... between 7:30-7:45 for an 8 am appointment and brought three trucks with plenty of support personnel. All work was completed by 10:30 am including a complete, thorough clean up of branches AND much of the sawdust. Very professional ... very communicative explaining everything they were going to do - an excellent crew that displayed teamwork and coordination. This included the owner Usman Ahmad bringing me outside to show me a second dying tree that had not been identified during his initial consultation. He apologized for not identifying the problem tree during his initial visit but the second tree was indeed in trouble and posed a potential danger - it had a deep split in its trunk with already a significant lean in the way it had grown. I am quite pleased with the service received during this work and would not hesitate to use Arborex again.

The service went very well. Arbor came by to discuss the work to be performed and provided a firm estimate along with confirming scheduling the next day. The Arborex team showed up the next morning and completed the services in about an hour. They cut down the tree and removed all debris. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend them for tree service. I will definaltey use them again.

Scheduled estimate for only day off - company did not call until appointment time to reschedule. Price was not great even with "Big Deal" but decided to use this company. They did not promise, but were hopeful that work would be completed before we left for vacation 3 weeks later. Returned from 2 week vacation and work still not done. Tried to cancel via Angie's List but since it was outside 30 day window, refund was not possible. Called company who said they had misplaced our job request, apologized and rescheduled work for 2 days later. Work was completed but we found some minor damage to property that was not acknowledged and company made no offer of discount or other compensation in lieu of long wait and missed appointments. There was more than one small jobs that we deleted from our list due to cost that they could have done while they were on site. I have not paid for the work over the "Big Deal" yet - I figure if we can wait, they can too.

We were very pleased with the work that was done. The crew was prompt, courteous and made a good effort to clean up after the work was completed. We definitely will consider using Arborex again.

They did a terrific job trimming the trees, protecting my roof and house. I was also appreciative of how nicely they cleaned up afterwards, sweeping the yard and all walkways of leaves and debris. I will happily recommend them and use them again!

Usman is very professional and he brought a team of at least 7 or 8 men. It was pretty amazing to see them get to work and cut down/clear a bunch of small trees in our backyard/wooded area in about 20 minutes! I would estimate they took down about 30 or more trees (most were small but there were a couple larger dead trees as well). At the same time that was happening other resources were removing a couple of larger trees in the front which included removing the stumps as well. I think the whole event was less than 40 minutes which is actually nice since they were grinding the trees and the grinder is loud... so we didn't have to subject our neighbors to a lot of disruption for a long period. A few of our neighbors even came by to watch with their kids because it was pretty eventful with so many workers running through our yard and making quick work of a pretty large project. They did a great job of cleanup as well using a blower and removing any trace of tree branches/leaves, wood shavings, etc.... wonderful work and I would certainly hire again if we have the need.

They responded quickly, arrived on time, and completed the job in two hours. I was amazed at the efficiency and thoroughness of their work.

I got this with an Angie's . Arborex was awesome. Contacted me promptly, came out, looked at my trees and agreed to take out 3 shrubs while they were there. Came when promised, did the job(including stump grinding). And called right afterwards to let me know they were done. Would highly recommend them.

Beautifully and quickly. The guys were efficient, polite, professional and did a great job. Watching their stump grinder work was very cool!

There was a short turn around on doing the initial estimate and when I called on Monday to schedule the work we were put on the schedule for Thursday. The crew showed up when they said they would, did their walk around, and go to work right away. They were very careful taking down a large poplar with a hollow base that was in a tight spot between our fence and tool shed, but did no damage to either. On one of the trimmed trees a branch did come down on the fence and knocked one board loose but they put it back up without being asked. They were done in about 2 hours. The supervisor came back by after the guys were done to make sure I was satisfied (one of the crew also checked that things were ok before they left). All in all the job went as well as it could have and they did it for the lowest price of the 3 estimates we got (and half the cost of one of those estimates). I would highly recommend.

I was in touch with provider through email this summer and was told that it had expired. I would not be able to get service paid for. I think they said /and or indicated that after a year it expires. Will use them again if I can get some compensation for what I have paid already.

I had difficulty getting together for a conversation with Usman, but once we had our first meeting scheduled, all went well. He loves trees, and so he's more than happy to help you keep a tree that is healthy. I had a large (40 foot high) tree that was about 5 feet from my house and about 10 feet from our fence. They took it done without a huge crane and without damaging anything and ground the stump. My neighbor wanted them to cut down more of my pecan tree, but they politely explained why that wouldn't be good for the tree. Excellent job. All of his folks were courteous and listened - and Usman is very good at being polite and assertive. I will definitely hire them again.
