I used Usman Ahmad previously and was happy with his promptness and results. So I called him again when I needed limbs removed that were touching our house. We made an appointment. As it turned out, Hurricane Matthew came before our appointment and as a result, besides the limbs, we had a tree that fell on our house and needed removing. Usman was late for our appointment so I called him and he did come over later that day. We agreed on a price that was quite high, 1450.00 for probably 6 limbs removed and a skinny tree, and that his workers would do the work the following week. They did come and removed the limbs and cut down the tree at the base and left it where it fell. They were supposed to cut it up and haul it down the property. My husband called Usman twice to report his unhappiness with the work and finally the workers came back to do the work we had agreed on. I am disappointed because I really like Usman and it is hard to find a good, honest, reliable tree service. After this experience I will find someone else.

Arborex was one of 3 called for pricing and availability. They beat the competition on price and timeframe. Work was done quickly and very professional in every manner.

They worked with us on schedule and although they were a little late arriving they completed the job as promised. Overall a very good job.

Contacted them by email after storm. I did advise that it was not an emergency. Three days later I received a call from the owner of the company. He said he would be out the next morning to look at the tree. I received a call about 9am and he had already looked at the tree. We discussed a price and agreed. Their price was about 1/3 of other prices I had received. I expected it to be a couple of weeks before they could get to the work due to the storm. The owner told me they would be here that afternoon. The crew arrived with 3 trucks and 6 people. We discussed the work to be done and they got to work. I have our cable line which was buried very close to the root ball. The trunk was also suspended over a stone wall. The employees really knew how to use the equipment and got everything done with no damage to the cable or wall. I asked them to cut up the trunk into firewood size for our neighbor. They took the trunk to the neighbor house and cut it to the length he wanted. Everything was cleaned up and they were done in about 45 minutes. Other companies told me it would take 2-4 hours and a crane was needed. It was obvious that they knew what they were doing and how to operate the machines. The owner called when they were here to make sure things were going well and again when they finished to make sure I was happy.

They did an excellent job. I was impressed by their attention to safety as much as their work ethic. They are a well trained team that got the work done quickly to our satisfaction, and their cleanup afterward was amazing. We would not hesitate recommending them as a quality outfit!

Great! They trimmed the trees as needed and asked for my judgements twice as they worked. They also did a great job cleaning up the debris, grinding and hauling it off. I was very pleased with their work! In fact, they did such a good job that there were no fallen limbs and debris to clean up after hurricane Matthew.

Provider came and listened to my concerns. He gave me good advice about what should be done. He gave me a wriitten estimate. the work was completed quickly and efficiently. I would use this provider again and recommend to my friends.

Everything went well - from the initial phone call & estimate to scheduling & the day of service. These guys really did a fantastic job - both in trimming & removing but also in clean up!! They went above & beyond to please us. Arborex is a great value, which is a rare find these days! Will definitely use again!

Owner was very punctual for estimate and team arrived right on time on scheduled job date. The team knows what they are doing and not a single branch touched the house during removal. The job took 4.5 hours and they worked continuously. Very professional and cleaned up well.

Uzman was extremely knowledgeable about the trees surrounding my home, and quickly identified two that posed a danger should a storm come through. He also helped us save some that we loved, which weren't doing well. He explained the quote thoroughly and the cost was extremely reasonable. The team was also very professional. I could tell by their equipment that they would have been prepared for a bigger job than this. It was small for them, but too big for suburban homeowner afraid of dropping a tree on the house. They were quick to make contact after my Angie's List request but I had to followup to get an appointment. Communication was a little iffy but I chocked it up to using a coupon and they might have been very busy. They estimated a week lead time but they were in the area the day after my estimate and called to see if it was ok to stop by and take out the tree (YES!) so the job was done really quickly. They made short work of taking down the tree and cleaned up afterward like they were never here. They cut the stump low to the ground and I am happy with the result. One less thing on my to-do list.

Everything went exceedingly well. The owner came out to provide the estimate and explain the potential pitfalls of the work. He then let us make our decision on which way to go. He ordered the utility locating work before he even left. We had a deadline so the owner arranged the work in a timely manner and the crew came when he said they would. The process was flawless and they expertly dropped the trees with less effort than they thought it would take. We were so impressed, we will be calling them again for another few trees before our house goes on the market for sale.

Usman and his team were fast at responding. They offered the best price and were the only tree service that could work me in before Hurricane Hermine arrives. Their team was fast and efficient and had everything done in about an hour.

Usman was reliable, personable, and took extra care not to damage surrounding Security light, deck etc. They cleaned up well.

After initial communication foul up, work was done in as requested. I would give them an A rating.

It never happened. I contacted the provider on 3 separate occasions over a period of 30 days, and while they responded with apologies, they never did call to schedule an appointment. I requested a refund from Angies List.

Purchased the deal on 3Aug. Provided several dates and times, as requested. After not hearing from the company, I called business and left message on 8Aug. Angie's List Customer Care representative contacted company on 9Aug. Was told that someone would contact me today. Heard nothing. I cancelled the purchase and received refund.
