Amie did a great job. She was enthusiastic, realistic, and attentive to our needs during the listing and sales process. She did not over-promise (very important in today's market) but always maintained a healthy optimism of closing the deal at the right price in a timely manner. Overall, she was responsive and we felt that she represented us well. She also made good suggestions on staging and things that we needed to do to prepare for the sale. This is the first house that I have sold in this area so I can't say that I have a lot to compare to, but based on some of the horror stories that I have heard about shoddy agents out for the quickest buck, I think that Amie was a good find! If I HAD to use an agent, I would use her again. I marked her as a B on price because I personally feel that 5% is high for the sale of a house at >$200,000. That seems to be in the rough ballpark for the area though, so I guess I will live with it! We had a contract in 6 weeks after listing at the beginning of July, 2008. Closing was 1 month later.
