The Amaya painting team were excellentâ they went above and beyond in painting, prep work and repair. As importantly, their cleanup was impeccable. We had 8 rooms done â including walls, trim, ceilings and doors â and the job exceeded all expectations.

They've always been on time, they always did what they said they would. Very fair prices.

We put our house on the market and the old paint was an issue. Jose gave me an estimate on a Tuesday afternoon and we hired him on the spot. They started the next morning painting the whole downstairs,the ceilings,the stairwell and landing. Done Friday afternoon to perfection. This house will be sold this weekend. Thanks Jose and Robin.

Our laundry room needed wallpaper removed and to be painted. Jose was prompt, efficient, hard working, and diligent. He was amiable and had a great attitude. He did exactly what was needed, and completed the job in a single day. He left us with a beautiful room and we will hire him again!

I feel I got exceptional value for my money. I changed from a dark siding color to a light color. I voiced concern about coverage to all of the paint companies providing estimates. Only Amaya included applying primer before painting the siding in their quote. More wood repairs were needed than I originally expected. Amaya only charged an additional $200 over the original estimate (with our agreement) because an entire porch column had to be replaced. The crew was meticulous about paint coverage and touch ups. Another nice touch was washing the outside of all windows as part of job site clean up. Work Description: Exterior painting Remove and replace damaged siding and trim boards on house exterior; caulk, putty, sand where needed. Exterior painting of house siding, trim, shutters, door, and detached storage building. Power washing and staining deck. Power washing front porch, steps, sidewalk, and driveway. Power washing fence. Sanding and painting wrought iron porch rails.

We have hired them twice ---- once about six/seven years ago to paint entire condo -- and about two years ago to "neutralize" some paint as we were transitioning the place to a "rental" status. The first time they actually did "extras" that we did not even think of --- and just added to the wonderful job. I wash walls once a year (as part of my spring cleaning) and the paint on the walls held up beautifully. When the walls were "neutralized" --- our property manager was amazed with the job --- professional! Would definitely hire them again! Their price is fair/reasonable.

Certa Pro sucks

I had some rotten facia and sofit on the rear of my home. It looks perfect. The reason I gave 4.5 stars for customer service is that my father inlaw had trouble understanding the crew when they found additional trouble spots. If Amaya has a smart phone he needs google translate. Robin is the phone contact and wrote the quote, she was great at returning calls. I plan to use them for more trim work and house painting within a year.

The only negative feedback I can give is that I had a hard time understanding them (spoke little English).

I would not recommend Amaya Painting as the work was not done properly. The paint was put on so thin you can see the sheetrock below. I do not even think the Sheetrock was primed as they said they did. And who paints a light switch. Ok work, but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
