Always Plumbing

My needs were twofold. First, I needed to replace my existing shower valve and trim. The screws were corroded and stripped out on the old one and I wanted to have it replaced. Additionally, I discovered a mold issue near the shower that I was hoping to find some clarity around possible causes. Fred was incredibly responsive and incredibly helpful. He also wasn't my first call. I had first had another plumbing service that has great reviews on here come out, but I was very unimpressed. The guy that came just basically agreed with my ignorant and uneducated assumptions and offered no additional detail. Additionally, they quoted a much higher price for the work. Getting back to Always Plumbing, when Fred showed up it was a better experience all around. He looked at where the mold had been and traced my problems to the shower pan and gave great explanations for why that is the most probable cause. From there, he and his team did a great job installing my new shower valve and trim and I'm very pleased with the result. I will definitely contact Fred for my future plumbing needs, and I recommend that anyone else do the same.

Always Plumbing was recommended by Cary Granite, who were installing new granite countertops and under-mount sinks. I went with the recommendation to make coordination with the granite install easier. Fred, Fred Jr and Zack arrived immediately after the countertops and sinks were installed (super coordination!). They were very professional and did a great job on connecting 5 faucets and garbage disposer to the new sinks. Their fee was substantially less than Home Depot wanted to send their plumbers to do this work, and I am very pleased to have had them do my plumbing.

I have used Fred Deutsch MANY times over the past 4 years for my house, my investment properties and my daughters condo.  He has installed new piping, replaced fixtures, installed new fixtures.  Some of the jobs were on older properties with touchy plumbing.  You name it.  He and his assistants are the best.  I only wish I found him sooner.  His work is impeccable, he is on time, he is always pleasant and his fees are reasonable.  What more could you ask for.

We have used Fred several times.  He was referred to us by out neighbor that owns a granite counter top company.  Fred has always been wonderful to work with.  He is professional, does it right the first time and is more than reasonable with what he charges for his services.  I will happily refer him to friends.

Fred is an excellent plumber. He is professional, responsible, reasonable in price, and I trust his judgment. To help do some of the planned work at a reasonable cost, he suggested I order some of the materials on the internet and guided me in exactly what I should order. When I needed advice about fixtures, he referred me to a store in Raleigh, where they were happy to help me out.  If that's not enough, Fred also gave a referral to a contractor who does remodeling work in the Chapel Hill area (the only person he said he works for in this area because of the quality of his work), and that person also turned out to be excellent. Fred is now my go-to plumber. I would not hesitate to call him again, and in fact, am planning on some additional work with him.

They came out and re-installed our faucets without issue. They also made some good suggestions.
The initial responsiveness to my inquiry didn't happen as fast as I would of liked.  Hence, the B grade.

Great, he is nice, honest and charges reasonable prices which is why he called him up again when the gas leak was discovered.

Fred arrived right on time and finished in a timely manner.  He did a great job during the install and answered my many questions. When finished, he cleaned everything up and gave advice on how to use and maintain my new equipment.  Very smooth process.  Not sure how his price compares or if it's the cheapest out there but I feel it was more than fair for the quality and professionalism.

Their pricing was good and the gentleman who owns the company was very nice. He also did good work and showed up on time.

Mr. Deutsch was extremely responsive to our phone call. When he came to our house, he was very thorough in examining our issues and explaining the problems.  He fixed everything very quickly and we have not had any problems since.  We appreciated his promptness and quality work!

Cary Granite arranged for Always Plumbing to install new faucets in 2 bathrooms that they had replaced our old counter tops.  They called ahead of time to let us know when they would be there.  Very prompt and very efficient.  I will definitely use them in the future.

He was More than accommodating, and is now my new handy man, he can do it all, quick, and the price cant be beat!!!!!

Fred from Always Plumbing did a great job for me.  I was in a pinch and needed help right away.  My septic system pump was broken and I had renters coming the next day.  It had to be fixed fast, no excuses!
Fred responded quickly and got the job done right!  Catastrophe avoided.
This is not his primary business, but he had the skill set and was willing to help.

This was a great experience.  They installed the sink and, unfortunately, found that the garbage disposal was cracked.  They told me which model to buy, the space to install was very restrictive so we needed a small model, and waited for me to run out and buy the garbage disposal.
They were very courteous and friendly.  Great to work with.

Fred was recommended to me by Joe Murphy of Cary Granite.  Fred came over after my counter tops were installed and installed the faucet and new plumbing.  Fred was very accommodating, fitting me in at the end of his day.  He showed up, and installed the faucet with no issues.

Fred Deutsch came to our home immediately after we had granite countertops installed in our kitchen to install a new faucet and disposal unit.  He was on time, quick and very professional, spending time to show me how to use/maintain both new fixtures.

They did a great job on the installation. They aren't very good on follow up. He has not returned any of my phone calls or responded to any of my letters.
