I couldn't be happier with the entire project from start to finish. We ran into one hiccup with the plumbing, due to the age of the house (1968), but Jonathan worked with the plumber and came up with a plan that resolved the issue while keeping the integrity of the design. Jonathan worked within our budget and exceeded our expectations by provided us with a beautiful shower/hall bath. The project wasn't huge (space wise) but covered demolition, electrical, drywall, painting, hvac (shower vent), tiling, plumbing, glass shower install...pretty much everything. I work from home and am on client calls, with 2 dogs, so scheduling and communication was critical. Jonathan and Andrew let me know in advance when they would be here and worked with my schedule when I needed quiet or was out of town. I feel confident recommending him to anyone and if I need anything in the future I will be reaching out to him first.

We embarked on a master bathroom remodel which involved retiling an existing tub enclosure, shower and toilet room, and replacing an old shower enclosure with a frameless one. We also needed tub and sink faucets replaced to match the new shower enclosure fixtures, as well as a new door to the master bedroom closet. Jonathan came and gave a very accurate estimate. We particularly liked the approach to providing access to the motor and plumbing of the jetted tub while making it very inconspicuous. Jonathan provided good references to tile and plumbing vendors with whom he had contractor discounts. They provided good selections for us at reasonable prices since were remodeling primarily for resale. The project went smoothly with any issues that arose ( which were quite minor) quickly resolved. The sub contractors were polite, professional and did good work. Jonathan and Andrew were very communicative and responsive. We particularly enjoyed working with Andrew. We are very happy with our “new” master bath and highly recommend Affordable Remodeling.

My countertops are amazing!!! The wainscoting is amazing!!!! Johnathan was great to work with. His staff was awesome. It couldn't have went better. They were very clean and very detail oriented. I will use them again for my bathroom remodel.

Went extremely well. I wish it was this easy with everyone I contract with! Jonathan is very professional and friendly. The installer is great - and a nice guy too! The whole job cost about 30% less than Home Depot wanted. I will not hesitate to use Jonathan again.

We are very pleased with the result of the remodel that Affordable Remodeling Solutions did for us. The launch area looks exactly as we specified. Some parts of the hardwood floor had to be replaced due to the remodel and you can't even tell that some of the boards are newer. I can't speak highly enough of the team involved. All were punctual, professional and all around great people to work with. The job was done quicker than we were quoted and that was even after it proved difficult to find the same exact type of hardwood flooring. Total A++++ job. We will definitely be using Affordable Remodeling Solutions for future projects.

We were exceptionally pleased with the process and the work. They helped us figure out what we wanted to do. They provided a detailed estimate of the work so we knew exactly what to expect in terms of the design and schedule. Both the cost estimate and schedule turned out to be accurate. They were very responsive when we asked questions. They installed temporary zippered bathroom doors to keep the mess from getting in our master bedroom and they did a very good job of cleaning up every day so that we could walk through the bathroom to the closet. Everyone who came in our house was professional and personable and communicated a commitment to doing an excellent job for us. When one of the vendors shipped a wrong fixture by mistake, Affordable Remodeling Solutions worked with us to find a suitable replacement fixture and reworked some tile and plumbing to make it work for us. I also requested a change to the plan for the bathroom surround, which they graciously accommodated late in the project. We highly recommend Affordable Remodeling Solutions.

Everything went very smooth, Jonathan was very patient with some of my last minute changes and was very quick to fix/update any minor problems (even ones I didn't notice). Both showed up on time and were easy to talk to. I never had to worry about how dirty my house would be when I got home. They went above and beyond to keep the work space clean each day. We're absolutely in love with the tile they installed. I would recommend them to anyone!

Manager / Contractor worked with us and Mosaic Tile to design the remodeling and select compatible tile. Manager facilitated changes to tile selections.
Tile installer did diligent and expert work to assure perfect fit (tile to tile) and selection of tiles per our general artistic guidelines. The accent tile work, which required detailed cutting and fitting, turned out perfect as did the sloped shower floor.
Special care was taken throughout the job to minimize dust in the rest of the house.
The modern glass enclosure was exactly what we wanted.
Manager and tile installer were easy to work with and completely trustworthy. There were minimal surcharges for the changes we initiated.

I had to shop and pick out the tile and buy a vanity and vanity top, mirrors, etc. All the work was done to my satisfaction. The workmanship was excellent and they cleaned up afterwards. The remodel took a little longer than I expected and I had to interrupt work due to a previous planned trip, but work was picked up and completed after I returned. I am completely satisfied with a job well done in the price range I expected. I probably could have had the job done cheaper, but I usually choose between the lower price and the highest price as I believe you usually get what you pay for. Thanks to Jonathan for his professionalism. And thanks to Rick for his superb work.

Our door was made of poor quality material. The seal around door was worn and deteriorating allowing wind, air and light to seep in. Base and sides of door and frame were worn and deteriorating. Peep hole of old door was located far out of visibility my height. Lock and bolt not functioning well after 17 years of age.
Andrew replaced the door, encasement frame, knob, locks and peep hole. He did the work with precise, meticulous detail, checking for my approval throughout the installation. He took his time and included expert information in every phase of the demolition and installation, including evaluation of prior termite damage around the frame. We have an beautiful new door that will shield us from the elements and increase the value of our home.
I called Affordable Remodeling Solutions for this project because of their superb remodeling of our kitchen last year. I will be calling them for an upgrade of two bathrooms in the near future.
This is an excellent company that provides quality work for an affordable price. Jonathan listens to your needs, does not oversell, and provides expert advice only when asked, (or when we need to be saved from bad decisions :-) Thank you, Jonathan.

We absolutely picked the right folks for this job! The project turned out even better that we imagined. Affordable Remodeling Solutions (ARS) made the most of each work day. They installed a new ceramic tile floor in the bathroom and created a beautiful new shower enclosure with ceramic tile and marble trim and a great glass wall. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptional. Demolition of the old bathroom was quick and with minimal dirt/disturbance to the rest of the house. They disposed of all the waste, and cleaned up thoroughly when the job was done. Jonathan's design suggestions kept the project on the right track. He had no problem with us doing the painting and installing the new sink base and sink ourselves to save a buck. The project was completed on time and to our complete satisfaction. Many thanks to Jonathan and his team at ARS for their fine work on our behalf. He proved to us that you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear! We recommend ARS highly and without reservation. We certainly would put them to work for us again in the future should the opportunity arise.

Jonathan?provided fair and?accurate estimates and time-frames for completing the bathroom remodel and kitchen backsplash in our 30 year old home. Jonathan and crew were punctual, reliable, a pleasure to deal with, and did a quality job. They kept the area as neat as possible during the several weeks the project was underway. The vendors he referred us to (Stock Building Supply, Ferguson's, and Mosaic Tile) met our needs for selection, price, and service. One thing that we learned is that with all the product available, and working with separate vendors, you do have to think through how everything will work together. Jonathan isn't doing design/build so you are ultimately responsible for how it turns out. For example, the single handle faucet we originally chose would not have fit with the granite backsplash. Luckily we caught this before the granite was drilled and switched faucets.
Jonathan was always responsive and accessible as we worked our way through the selection process for countertop and tile, as the project was underway, and even after its completion. We would often send him messages or questions in late afternoon or evening and would receive his reply by about 5 am the next morning.

Jonathan did an excellent job from start to finish. He helped us pick out our granite, and we showed him a picture of cabinets we wanted to add, and Jonathan and Greg built and installed them to a perfect design. I will definitely use again and highly recommend.
