However, the termite inspector, whose name and company were never given to me, was rude, obnoxious, and in a hurry. We were told by the Advantage office to meet him at the property between 1pm and 1:30pm on the day we were given. We arrived at 1:15pm to find him leaving. He did go back to the house with us to look inside, but acted rude and and quot;put outand quot;. He refused to answer my brother's questions and only walked around inside the house with a flashlight, shining it at the baseboards. Having not witnessed him going under the house, we can't be sure he even did an inspection, although the report we received was good. After complaining to the office (through our realtor), Advantage assured us that he did do the inspection, but said that he had been reprimanded and would no longer do inspections for Advantage. I guess that's the best we can hope for.
And Yolanda, in the office, seemed a little confused at times, but perhaps she was having a tough day. She did sound exceptionally busy, and as a former secretary myself, I know how it can get sometimes. So not knowing just what was going on at the other end of the phone, I can't in good conscience completely fault her.
Overall, I liked dealing with these folks very much, and would do so again.
