A-1 Septic Tank Cleaning

For issue 1 -> Keith on the phone immediately diagnosed the most likely issue, and was 100% accurate. He had outstanding communication, called me a few times to give me status of his team. His team quickly came out, found the distribution box, which was JAM PACKED with roots from surrounding trees. The cleaned it out and had to replace about an 8' section of pipe. They were extremely cautious while driving the bobcat backhoe across the yard to not tear it up. They quickly found the distribution box, which was buried, dug it out, proving Keith right, cleaned it out, dug out the pipe, replaced, buried it back (after applying the proper downward grade to the piping, tested it all) and took tremendous care in leveling out the ground so I could easily seed the area with grass. An exceptionally hard working crew of folks, and honestly a joy to talk to, especially working on a Saturday. Cost was $1500 Issue #2, was a simple clean out of the tanks.... they came 5 mins early, worked very quickly... again a nice team of guys cleaned everything out, very efficient and good to talk to, verified I was happy with the work, packed up and headed out. I have an older home, built in 1978. I honestly can't remember the last time we had the tank pumped. We were not having any issues- just figured it's about time.

I set the appt for them to come out. They called when they were on their way. It took some detective work to find out where it was, but once they located it (it seems the outgoing pipe makes some turns) they went to work to dig up what they needed to in order to remove the cover. These guys were really working - my yard is very dense clay and not easy to get into. They probably dug for about 30+ minutes. The emptying took maybe 30 minutes more. They filled the whole back in (it was about 3x3) and looking at it, you can't tell they were there.

I honestly didn't know what to expect - and was VERY pleased it was this easy. I would DEFINITELY have these guys complete this service again (3 years).

Called ahead and arrived shortly after. Ask if they could back across driveway to get closer. Completed quickly.

Very nice, professional man. Worked diligently and quickly. Cleaned up well afterward. No residual odors or mess when he left.
Instructed me on doing some regular maintenance (filter cleaning) and showed me how to do it myself, while also offering a service if I wanted to pay someone else to do it instead.

The owner Keith was easy to deal with. I called mid day and we scheduled next day service. The guys arrived on time and went right to work. They were able to explain how the system worked and recommended the appropriate maintance needed on the tank. When we built the home five years ago, the builder or septic person did not tell us to do anything but call for emptying every 3-5 years. We will definitely use them again.

I had used A-1 about 6-7 years ago with no problems. This year, it was time to clean the tank again, so I checked Angie's and saw that A-1 was recommended. I made a few calls, their price was competitive, so I chose them. They were here 3 days later (we weren't in a hurry, the pumping was routine), on schedule, and did the job quickly and completely.

Very quick and speedy service. Very professional. Made great recommendations for future maintenance and how to avoid problems in the future.

Called and left a message they returned my call within 5 minutes. They
arrived on time for the appointment. They located the buried tank
quickly. They left the area neat and clean as it was when they arrived.
Recommended cleaning every 3-5 years and not to use additives to the
tank. Use single ply or double ply toilet paper. I used Charmin and
it did not break down. I will definitely use them again.

Called A-1 to clean my septic tank and was able to get an appointment same day. They were courteous, communicated well with me on arrival timing and delivered the service exceeding my expectations. I would highly recommend.

Had the job done in no time, Also explained where the filter is in the tank, and that it needs to be cleaned every 6 mos. I was very pleased with their promptness.

They were on time. They told me that there were a couple of things that I need to get done the next time. They did a good job and they were professional. I will use them again in the future.

Needed them to show up by 9am to pump my septic so the septic installer can move our tank for our pool to be put inband the inspection done at noon. They showed up right on time and got it done.

The guys from A-1 were great!! They looked for the buried tank for at least 30 minutes before giving up. They did not charge a service fee for the trip, even though they came out at about 8 pm. When I found a diagram of the yard with the tank located, they came back again the next morning and pumped the tank along with clearing out roots that had infiltrated the pipes.

Arrived on time. Patiently explained the working of the septic system when I asked. Completed job quickly and cleaned up site. Very friendly and professional.
