Tres Jacob Landscaping & Lawn Care

Horrible communication, unprofessional, and unreliable. I’ve used these guys a few times in the past and while they did a decent job on my lawn I will no longer conduct business with them. The first time I had them service my lawn there were no issues other then having to resort to texting in order to communicate with them. The second time I had called a week in advance to assure my lawn was cut by a specific date and time since my wife was having a meeting at our home. This companies owner confirmed with me for that morning. The day we agreed on came, and the morning passed, NO SHOW. When I followed up with the owner (through text because I couldn’t get him on the phone) and asked if they were still coming out, he replied “we are going later today” and “sorry for the inconvenience”. Later? Her guest are about to arrive. He gave me no heads up even though I had scheduled days before. Last week I decided to take them up on extra service and add mulch. We confirmed the color of the mulch and the day he would come out but he never specified a time. That Tuesday came while I was at work and I didn’t have my phone on because I was in a meeting, he texted me “We are here”. When I texted him back later I had told him I was at work and didn’t have my phone and asked if they cut my lawn. I called my wife because she was home and she said no one came by. I also have Ring Doorbell Camera so I’m able to see if anyone pulls up in front of my house. And so by that I confirmed these guys just blew me off again. I texted him a few more times and then tried to call him twice with some time in between. He sent it right to voicemail and auto-texted me “Can I call you later?” Twice. After that he never attempted to reach out to me or try to explain what had happened. But the part that made me salty and really forced me to write this review is that, it’s been a week since I tried to reach out to him and after no returned texts or calls, I see him at my neighbors house!! I absolutely do not recommend this company if you’re looking for reliable service and professionalism. In my opinion it’s not worth the headache of not knowing if your lawn will get cut.

On June 17, 2019, the owner, Mr. Jacob came to my home. I showed him the project and where I wanted it located. He told me that his company could perform the task and he could start work the next day (6/18), I hired on spot, Mr. Jacob telephoned us on June 19 to let us know he was on his way. My husband explained to Mr. Jacob that the weather forecast was rain and that he could not pour concrete if it was raining. However, it did not rain and I called June 20 and informed Mr. Jacob that he could come Friday or Saturday (6/21 or 6/22). Mr. Jacob said he could come Monday, 6/24, and he will call me when he is on his. He Called me and told me he would be at our home somewhere between 40 to 60 minutes. His crew came and started the work and completed it the same evening. The pergola is beautiful and they did an amazing job. We have a few more projects and will be contacting Mr. Jacob to do the work. Thanks to Angie's List. They are truly professional and the job was spot on. Thank you. Sincerely, Corine J. Barber

I am very pleased with the standard of work that Mr. Tres Jacob and his team have done. All of the bushes have been shaped beautifully. I can see more of my yard now that all of the tree limbs have been cleared away. Mr.Tres Jacob has a very good attitude. He made sure that I was happy with the work by checking with me first when taking the tree limbs down. His team did more than I expected. I will be hiring him again.

They did a great job on the yard. It was great price. I will use their service again.

Tres Jacob is always SUPER fast to respond to give me a quote or come at the drop of a hat to do last minute yard work. They did the mulch and cleaned up "no-man's land" in less than hour. They finished it in no time but definitely did not slack in their quality of work. Whenever they cut the yard they do it perfectly and I never have issues. I would highly recommend them. I have attached a few pictures to show the mulch work they did and the no-man's land. Please excuse the weeds and the hedges in between the fences. They have tried to get me to let them clean it all up but I like being able to do a little bit of the work myself. The pictures taken are also done before I had them cut the grass.

He told me he would be here at 8:30am and they got here around 9:30am. He gave us a quote on the job and he started working and then changed his mind on what work he would do. He said the price he quoted would not include getting up all the pine straw.

Leyber Jacob contacted me right away after I sent the email through Angie's List. He came out when he said he would to provide an estimate and offered a fair price. He told me he'd be there at 8:00 am on Monday morning, and that's exactly when he and his crew arrived. It took them three hours to do what it would have taken me a week to do by myself. Very happy with the work and would absolutely hire again.

These guys were very easy to communicate and coordinate with. They came out quickly to do a estimate before the first mow, gave me more than a fair price, and did a fantastic job on the front and back yards. I had these guys out several times and the work was consistently perfect. They got the job done quickly and efficiently every single time. I would definitely recommend their services to others.

The did a good job on the lawn and Filled in almost all of the holes. I wasn't thrilled with the pricing but I was desperate so agreed.

I was very impressed with Leyber and his team. They worked hard and used quality materials--our yard looks great!! They even helped replant an existing tree that another company previously planted. Leyber is professional and easy to reach on his phone (unlike many of the other companies I spoke with). I would definitely use their services again and/or recommended to a friend.

With my hubby being deployed and me having a bad back, I was having issues with my lawn. I needed some serious help! I looked online for a reasonable service to take on my heavy load. I contacted Tres Jacob Landscaping and lawn care. They came and did a free estimation and I was surprised on how much it was gonna cost. It was fair and reasonable amount! Best money I ever spent! I would recommend these guys to every one! Thank you for being so quick and efficient with your work!

I had just returned home from an extended trip and both my front and back yards were overgrown and VERY messy from storms. I called Tres Jacob Landscaping and left a message for a quote. My called was returned that afternoon. The crew stopped by the same night and the quote was great, so I booked an appointment. They came out two days later around 10am. The crew worked very fast, but they were also very detailed and efficient. My yard has never looked this pristine! I highly recommend this crew!!

Leyber and his team are great! They do a wonderful job at a great price. Once a month they even trim my bushes at no extra cost. Sometimes I leave debris around from my garden intending to get it later and they took it away for me! They are great,hardworking people.

They do an excellent job! Always prompt and professional. Anytime I contact to get my yard done I am worked in within a few days. In the past I have also had my bushes trimmed. They did an excellent job. I will continue to use this company for my yard needs and highly recommend them for anyone in need of excellent and prompt service!

Absolute professional and extremely thorough.  After moving to Raeford NC 10 months ago, and searching for a landscaper Tres Jacob's was a God sent.  Our yard is by far the best in the neighborhood!  He brought our lawn back to life! (not exaggerating!).  He is professional, punctual, responsive and reasonably priced.  If you are not using Tres Jacob Landscaping and you reside in the Raeford NC area, you are missing out!  Only drawback is he not experienced in sprinklers.  Great landscaper and I give him an AAAA+++++++!
