Description of Work: We had contracted with Mark Welch to install the pool from start to finish. He decided that he did not want to complete the job and asked my general contractor to find another company to finish cleaning the pool, deduct the money from the final payment to him. He installed the tile on June 17 and called me the next day demanding final payment. However, we could not fill the pool for 24-48 hours until the tile had set up, the pool had not been final cleaned and we had not received the bill from the other company that was to finish cleaning the pool. He began immediately to threaten a law suit, file liens and revoke the warranty on the pool. He is demanding payment while I am looking at a pool that I can not swim in because he did not want to complete the job as contracted!! We have asked him to sign a Release of Liens and to provide a Warranty to us in exchange for payment since he has created such a fuss. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional person. He was weeks late coming out to finish the tile and hook up the pump, however, he expects us to cut a check immediately even though the pool is not usable and not complete as per the original contract. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
