I have called twice. The work was done 3 months ago and the grout is cracking and chipping all along where the granite meets the tile no response from the owner. I guess they dont care or guarantee there sorry work. Never will recommend or use Tim Marion again!!! B Williams

"So sorry for delay. We will be with you by Jan 3. So overwhelmed with Christmas projects. But rest assured we will come and caulk your backsplash. Thanks"

Marion did a very good job on the bathroom (ceramic tile) but quoted us an outrageous price for a similar tile floor in the bedroom, so we asked for an alternative. Marion RECOMMENDED and installed a "luxury vinyl tile". The planks of the vinyl started bowing, shifting and separating within a few months and became a total disaster. Tim Marion evaluated the situation and acknowledged the problem, which may have been caused by the product or the installation or both. I don't know. The manufacturer gave him no compensation. I looked to Marion to give me some discount on a replacement job with ceramic tile. His quote was far above another quote that I received. He claimed that he was faultless and then reduced his quote to be slightly above the competitor. Thanks but no thanks!

Expensive and could not get the original tile discussed. Tried to charge more money for a similiar but different tile to match rest of the bathroom which I refused to pay; they took a week to get an estimate to me and should have costed te tike which would include availability. Had a couple of heated conversations with the second generation ownership of this company. They also refused to come back and put grout sealant on the finished job, because it was 15 minutes further out of their way. Thus company does a lot of high end New home construction jobs for contractors and has a good reputation on new home construction, however my little $450k home was probably not worth their time. That was the attitude from the owners offspring.

From the first time we walked into their store and now 2 years later, these guys are professional and stand by their work. They helped us pick out flooring and granite and back  splash. We remodeled the kitchen and they helped with every step. All their workmen are very knowledgeable and professional. When we have had questions after the job was completed, they still came out to help us. I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone!!

Got a couple estimates for flooring and tile (Marmoleum floor and ceramic tile) and they were all pretty close (two within $3) so I went with Marion because they seemed to have the most experience with Marmoleum. Put down a deposit in April, and had them demo the old floor after the remodel started in May. Part of the old floor came up very easy but half they had to cut out and replace with new plywood. Took about a day. Flooring went in probably two weeks after that. It was Marmoleum planks and the installer was courteous, showed up on time and finished in little over a day. He put down shoe molding too. Looks pretty good, very nice flooring. Tile backsplash was done probably two weeks later after countertops went in. Tile looks good, there's one or two spots where there's a bump that I don't like, but mostly good.

Then the project turned into a nightmare. After starting the remodel, they stopped work for 1 week and went on vacation. When work restarted, the crew was reduced in order to support a newly started larger project of theirs. After it was finished, within months, the grout turned black and it would not come clean. Then after much discussion, a crew came back and removed the tile and shower pan replacing all with new stuff. Then shortly after we began to use the bathroom a second time, the mold returned. My wife called to talk to Tim Marion she told him what was going on. Quote and ldquo; She would have to step up to the plate and do a better job of cleaning.and rdquo; At that point, we ceased further contact with Marion Tile. A new tile company was brought in. The new company removed the entire affected area of tile on the walls and floor, replaced the shower pan and walls. This cost us an additional $1800.00. As far as we were concerned it was money well spent as we have been using it for 7 months with no mold problems whatsoever. We took photos of when they took the floor back up, everything was soaking and wet. The new company said the tile was inappropriately installed and was not sealed properly. We also took pictures of the finished project. My wife sent these to Tim Marion. He sent a letter back; he blamed the general contractor and the plumber. It was everyone's fault but his. It was a crummy job. If he can do this to an acquaintance, I can't imagine what he would do if he didn't know you.

The company did great tile work. They were expensive, but well worth it for the quality produced. They showed up on time and cleaned up the area upon completion.
