Bobby York Hardwood Flooring

Bobby did an excellent job and is a true craftsman in his field. He has been in business for 20 plus years and his experience shows. I was continually amazed at his attention to detail, craftsmanship and doing things the right way and the way they should be done. Bobby was very punctual and kept us informed every step of the way. He showed up when he said he would. Our schedule was somewhat flexible and he was able to work with us to complete our project ahead of our desired date. His advice was spot on and knowledge on staining was apparent and most helpful. My wife was struggling with the stain color as we were tying in new wood with old wood in a very large, well lighted, open room and was very concerned about the outcome of the color. Bobby patiently work with her to get exactly what she want and called us if there was the least bit of concern on his part. As Bobby was working the "runs" of wood and tying in from one area to another several of them did not line up. Bobby patiently worked with these and when he was finished they lined up perfectly. As we found out staining and tying in old wood and new wood is a art and requires experience. Bobby sanded out areas where the old and new woods met and stained these areas showing any my wife the contrast on the colors as she wanted a lighter finish. Overall this was a good experience with a great outcome and I would use Bobby York again and highly recommend him. He told me straight up that he may be a little higher in price than some but once I saw what he did and his detail it was a very fair price. Bobby does all his own work and encourages you to watch and ask questions.
