Avoid using this builder. They are building a house on the lot next door to us, and they clear cut all the trees right up to our property line. This is a neighborhood of lots 3 to 9 acres in size, everyone that moves out here has a certain expectation of privacy. In addition to clear cutting trees up to our property line, they are putting the house practically back to back with our house. Which is ridiculous when they have 8 acres of land and we have 4 acres of land, that they houses would be placed that close together. It's not consistent with the rest of the neighborhood, where houses are centered on the lots and are evenly spaced apart. Now, after living in our home for over 8 years, we are faced with having another house practically on top of ours with no tree buffer in between. When my husband and I, and our neighbors on the other side of the lot, met with the Tuscan builder, he looked at us blankly when we explained our concerns. His response? "It's not my problem, I don't have to live here." It is his responsibility to advise his clients on the house placement, something he is obviously not planning to do. The effect that this will have on our property value is no small matter, when we will be the only ones in the neighborhood with another house so close, making it the least desirable house in the neighborhood. Clearly not a builder looking out for the welfare of his customers or thinking about the integrity of the neighborhoods he is building in.
