Steve did a great job. First he installed a check valve at my well head when I thought the internal one had failed and then he located and repaired a leak in the well line to the house, after I paid a professional leak detection company to come and mark it, but they had marked the wrong location by over 30 feet! Steve and Tony spotted the leak right away, dug it up and patched it the same day.

Steve was punctual and extremely efficient. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my well pump and pressure tank and offered me several viable options. His work is definitely professional and I'd certainly not hesitate to refer him to anyone or call him again.

At about 10:00 p.m we discovered we had no water coming into our home.   I sent a text to a well company close to where I live and they were on vacation.  They recommended I contact Steve Sullivan.  I sent Steve a text at 7:00 a.m. the next morning explaining my problem.  He called me back within minutes.  I told Steve that I had no water, that I had flipped the breaker switch and checked to see if I had pressure in the tank.  All those thing checked out so I figured I was going to need a new pump.  Steve told me he had one appointment that morning but could be at my house before lunch.
He showed up on time, checked my system and was fairly quickly able to determine that the power to my pressure tank had been turned off under the house. The afternoon before I had workers under my house and they must have cut the tank off accidentally.   Steve cut it back on for me.  Because he lives a good distance from me he probably spent 2 hours on the road total coming to my house.  He only charged me enough to cover his gas.
Steve is a very nice guy.  He responded very quickly to my problem.   He seems to know his business very well.  I would not hesitate to use him again.

It was Sullivan Water Works Well and Pump. The person's name is Steve Sullivan. He is a good guy. I plan to use him for filtration, they do water filter systems. I plan on using him for that. He was responsive. He is local so he is just fun to be around. I learned a lot watching him. He is great. To other Angie's List Member’s I would like to say that "If you want it done, you want a guy that is going to do what he says he is going to do and with an exact and a very reasonable price, he is the guy to do it." He is right on for punctuality. This guy was good.

He was able to test the well under somewhat difficult circumstances--it was in a remote location and we had to transport the generator to the site. When the pump didn't work, he promptly got the supplies and replaced it. His actual and predicted costs were the same, I don't think he charged me for testing the well, which took most of an afternoon. Allowing for weather, he finished the work very quickly. There was no waiting time for ordering parts.

I was referred to Sullivan's by another company I was interested in, but who was too busy to come out to do my work, and Sullivan's ended up being a disaster. He didn't even have a business card. They damaged some of the existing plumbing in the house when they put in an adapter to hook a new well connection to the old plumbing. Two weeks later, that new adapter burst, and we had water sprayed all over boxes of possessions that we had just moved into the basement area, because we were just moving into the house. We still haven't recovered from it. He did very poor quality of work. I would tell people to walk away and not do business with them.
