SPECIALIZED LANDSCAPE SVC

Looking at the results,  I am very happy. Last week we had the second treatment of our lawn.

This is the first year that our grass has not started to die down by  this time of the year even though we have and use our irrigation system. We have contracted a number of other lawn service companies over the years,  but invariably our lawn would start to die down in mid April and by mid May it would look terrible. I don't know whether the product that Specialized Landscape Services uses is better quality or whether the workers of the company are more conscientious in applying it. I just know that our lawn has never looked better. Specialized Landscape Services takes care of my neighbor's lawn for many years, and it has always been the envy of our neighborhood.

Steve Candelori, the owner is very approachable and professional. He has offered to come out to our place to suggest some steps that we might take to further improve our lawn.

Recently, he suggested treating our lawn for "brown spot" and we accepted the service.

If the lawn continues to do as well as it is doing, we will become a loyal customer of this company.

Have been waiting for new shrubs to be planted for five months. Spoke to rep for the company multiple times and all I heard were excuses. Finally told him to for get about the shrubs.Never returns call in a timely manner, I had to call the company so many times until I get a call back. Somet five weeks! Excuses excuses, my phone waworking, I didn't check my messages, etc etc.Kept getting bills not knowing for what services rendered. When I finally got in touch with the rep, all he could say his bookkeeping was messed up and I didn't owe anything. What company dosen't keep current books. Got another bill, same thing called again and left a message, no call back.the last time I called the company I told the rep that 2 of my plants have died and 5 others are sick looking. One of them is my $300 Japanese dwarf maple. I was told when I hired the company all plants were guaranteed. I was so disgusted with this company  I called and said I no longer need your services.

About Aug 20, 2010, our lawn developed several brown patches of dead grass - approximately 10-20% of ths surface area of the lawn. We were paying about $45 per fertilization treatment, and about $100 per month for brown patch control. I hire a lawn service to keep my lawn green and healthy, and Specialized Landscape Services did neither. I called the owner out to my home to ask him what he was going to do to fix the lawn. His response was that fescue is a cold weather grass unsuitable for the south, but offered no realk fix nor solution. On that basis, we fired the company after spending several hundred dollars per year.
