Great, I did not have a set time frame to have it completed and he worked when he and i were available.

It went very well. The original tiles weren't installed well. Joe removed them and showed us the issues...and a lot of leaky areas. He put everything back together (with new tile) and even added some accent tiles for us. We're very happy with our new shower.

Joe was under budget, and was very professional. He looked at the things I had, and made suggestions. When he was done, everything was up off the floor, and out of the way. It was absolutely neat as a pin when he finished. It was great! I am not sure of the exact price, but he has always been very fair. Joe gives us an estimate, and he always comes in under the estimate. I have priced others in the past, and Joe is always the lowest. Yet, he gives use really quality work. I would highly recommend him for the smaller jobs that don't require a construction type of person. I would go to Joe, every time. We are absolutely thrilled with him. A Plus across the board!

I believe Joe's forte is working with wood on any level whether he's building customary cabinetry or renovating existing wood work. He's clever with solutions to problems that often one encounters with older homes. Joe is very versatile and can do plumbing, work with fixing and laying tile and wood floors. He's also a great welder. I like that he works alone and so his costs are low with not having to pay laborers. He works with your budget - if you want to spend a lot of money then he can deliver a custom job detailed to your desire. If you want to get a long list of things done on a budget he is clever with staying in your range and keeping material costs down. Joe is trustworthy. He'll tell you honestly if he can do the job or not and if not will usually recommend someone in the business that can do the job right. I'm sure that i still haven't used or seen all of his skills and abilities, but what i've seen so far is enough to call Joe back over and over. Since i've found Joe i've asked other carpenters for their quotes but have always called Joe back to do the work. He does a great job and is reliable and easy to work with.

We first encountered Joe for work on our interior doors, some of which didn't close or latch completely, which did not fit properly at our 1 year builder's inspection. Joe did the work a year ago and they still open and close properly. He did it for less than cost and time quoted. Joe completed the attic space and shelving November 2010 as I didn't want any work going on during the holidays. I had the attic enclosed with heat and A/C and added shelving. It has met me needs perfectly and Joe finished the space in a week and half at the price quoted. Joe did the finished closet shelving in less than a week and the custom shelving were finished in stages since we had no rush on it. However, it was finished before the bed and bath were completed. The trim work is very nice and shelves fit in securely. The bed and bath were started approx. Jan. 10, 2011 and completed approx. March 1, 2011. Some inspections occurred later which were due to difficulties with city inspectors. Joe had excellent subcontractors for plumbing, heat and a/c, electrical, and plaster work. The bed and bath are compliant with energy efficiency standards; nice trim throughout; great arrangement of shelves and rods in the small walk-in closet; and tiled bath. Joe is especially good with baths. The tile work is well designed and installed and he did some very nice trim work around the window in the tub area. For his labor and materials, Joe came in on time and as quoted. We raised the budget a bit with a better quality bath cabinet and mirror, and bedroom carpeting. During the entire process, Joe was professional and flexible to our needs. He went the extra mile in finding and delivering materials that we wanted thus saving us time and money. We are very pleased with his work and feel that it was money well spent. We have no hesitation in recommending Joe to others.
