Clear Water was very responsive and got a crew out quickly. Chris and Sam were knowledgeable and committed to getting it done right. My two challenges: 1) could have used better communications on how to restart my system and clear mud before letting it into my whole house. Had to find that online and do hours of running dirty water through hose before it cleaned up to protect my water heater, house filtering systems, and interior pipes from more sediment. Still got sludge in my toilets unnecessarily I had to clean out. 2) hard to get clear pricing estimates. A little shocked at the final bill (they did provide Angie's list discount), not because it is unreasonable once I see details but because I just wasn't given better estimates along the way. Chris did put a screen on the well pump itself and now that I've flushed things, I have better water pressure and less sediment than in years, so overall very pleased.

The work was very good and they even cleaned up before they left. They even took off my old sink faucet  so I would not have to.

ClearWater submitted a proposal for plumbing of our house. This was a new construction and Mr. Partin s proposal was accepted. The initial (rough in) phase appeared to go smoothly and Mr. Partin was paid $10917.42 for this work. Subsequently, Mr. Partin was required to reorient multiple valves and two drain stubs that were inaccurately placed in the master bathroom. This remedial work was performed by Mr. Partin, but not in a timely manner which delayed other work. In April 2008, Mr. Partin was contacted regarding completion of the project by May 1st, 2008. Mr. Partin arrived at the job site, placed a whirlpool tub in the middle of the bathroom floor, began fitting a drain, and left. Mr. Partin then sent his son to the house to finish the work, but he was unable to do so and cited a desire to let his father undertake the more complicated installations. ClearWater Plumbing was again contacted regarding completion of the project and corrective work. Dates to begin work were proposed by Clear Water. However no one showed up on those days and no explanation was given. ClearWater was again contacted in writing (May 1st, 2008) in order to determine if they would be able to finish the job. Subsequent phone conversations indicated that they would complete work during the first week of May. ClearWater was again contacted on May 7th at which time they indicated that all work discussed would be completed that afternoon. When we expressed reservations about completing a multiple day job in one afternoon, we were told to not say anything more. They were reminded about the remedial work and we were again told they would complete the job that afternoon. In approximately 10 minutes ClearWater Plumbing called back and told us to find another plumber. Subsequently, ClearWater Plumbing called building inspections and requested a plumbing inspection despite knowing that the job was not complete. They also indicated falsely to the inspections department that we had moved into the house prior to having a Certificate of Occupancy. Inspection confirmed that the plumbing was incomplete and that the dwelling was not occupied. We feel that this was quite simply an unprofessional retaliatory act on their part. Review of the work performed by ClearWater has found numerous defects including hot water feeding a toilet, hot and cold water lines crossed, missing parts, vent pipes exhausting sewer gas into the attic spaces and the owner purchased plumbing items in disarray or thrown in the trash. Despite this we have been billed by ClearWater for an additional $6129.06 despite having a written agreement that this payment was due at completion of the work. In addition to billing for uncompleted work on a job that ClearWater abandoned, this invoice also includes items that were not installed in the house. Needless to say we are mortified at the poor quality of the work done by ClearWater Plumbing.

ALL IN ALL, THE COMPANY DID A GOOD JOB. IT WAS VERY PLEASANT WORKING WITH THEM. THEY TREATED MY PROPERTY WITH RESPECT. IF I NEED ANY MORE REPAIRS I WILL GO TO THEM. THEY REALLY UNDERSTAND THEIR JOB AND WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
