Description of Work: Owner Jake Zimmerman arrived on time and quickly provided an estimate approximately 60% of that from another local, respected tree service. Subsequently removed 13 trees of various sizes and species, including at least five requiring high rope work for topping and limbing. Trimmed an additional 22 trees and one hedge, the former again involving rope work. All work was efficiently done by his polite, competent crew and its leader. Jake visited at least once each day to confirm work was being done to his standards, including meticulous post-work cleanup of even the smallest amounts of sawdust and debris. Very pleased with entire job. | |Small downgrade in "professionalism"--a poor, but best available choice of category--simply reflects a bit of discomfort on my part that Jake did not demand that all his workers wear traditional safety gear (hard hat, eye protection, gloves, et al). He explained that they had grown up in forests doing tree work, would be uncomfortable wearing such gear, and had never precipitated an insurance claim or workers compensation report...but it made me and my wife a bit nervous nonetheless.

+ -1 moreHe does wonderfully. It came out beautifully, he cleaned up all branches like he was not there except the job was done. The price is generally similar but his price was a little better.
