The price was a little high because we had extra stuff done this time round. They are outstanding.

When we bought the extended warranty, they said nothing about the deductible. I was a little surprised. They should be more clear about that.

When I got home I discovered that my car was leaking oil, something it has never done. We did not drive the car over the weekend and first thing Monday I took it to my regular mechanic. They put it on the lift so that I could see oil plug. Someone had dented and scraped paint in area around plug. Also, there was some kind of sealant put on plug. I cannot prove who damaged plug, but I doubt that it was my regular mechanic who has serviced this car since it went out of warranty. This same mechanic has worked on my other 3 cars for the last several years with no issues.

My mechanic recommended that I replace the oil drain plug with a kit they often use when an oil plug wears out (the threads become stripped - something usually only seen on cars much older and with more mileage). He said that there was no need to replace oil pan. Cost of repair was $48 versus the over $400 repair dealership said that I needed.

Also, my regular mechanic resolved the issue with tire pressure sensor going off when tire pressures were OK. Someone had set internal system module to 5.5 Bars which is equivalent to 79psi. They reset module to correct pressure and sensor light went off. This repair was $46.

At best VW South was incompetent. Worse case would be that they damaged my car and recommended a repair that was significantly more than I needed. Also, it is sad when the dealership does not know how to correctly diagnose a problem, but a mechanic who works on many car models can figure out problem.

Finally, a stop for an and quot;express oil changeand quot; resulted in a leaking car and the need to spend more than 1/2 day getting problem fixed.

My experience has always been very good. The whole process was very easy. I am a repeat customer with them and they really went the extra mile for me.

They originally quoted $200 and then they went down to $160 and then the final price was $120. It ended up being more simple and came to only $59. I'd give them five out of five.

Brought car in, determined what needed to be done and sent me on my way with loaner car.

This was the sort of experience we wish buying a car could be, but almost never is. The salesman, Ken Holt, was unfailingly professional, pleasant and responsive to questions. For many years in my own job, I negotiated sales, purchases and distributor contracts; my philosophy was that both parties should leave with something and that the experience should be enjoyable. This car purchase lived up to that. Pricing and trade-in values we arrived at were fair and there was no sales pressure. Ken made no promises he couldn't keep, especially laudable in a car salesman. He knew his stuff and got more information when necessary -- quickly. Financing was arranged smoothly and without pushing me to buy extras I didn't want. The dealership is spotlessly clean; I dropped a cigarette butt in the driveway and 5 minutes later some elf had whisked that blemish away. New Passat wagons are not easy to find. When my first-choice color wasn't available anywhere in the South, they found my 2nd-choice and drove it to Charlotte from Georgia within 2 days. I would recommend, no, command, any car-buying friends to pay these folks a visit.

THEY HAVE RECENTLY MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION - WHICH IS NOT VERY CONVENIENT AND IT USUALLY CAN NOT GIVE ME AN APPOINTMENT INSIDE OF THIRTY DAYS.

WORK ON MY AUDI'S. PAY A BIT MORE FOR DEALER'S CONVENIENCE, PARTS AND KNOWLEDGE. HONEST DIDN'T CHARGE ME ONCE WHEN THERE WAS A PROBLEM. THEY'VE SERVICED OUR CARS FOR YEARS.

I WOULD RECOMMEND AS GOOD FOR WARRANTY WORK- I WOULD HAVE TO CONSIDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES FOR OTHER WORK. THIS DEALER IS OK-WE DROPPED THE CAR OFF AND THEY CALLED US IN A TIMELY MANNER WHEN IT WAS DONE. THEY JUST DON'T GIVE ME THE "WARM FEELING"
