The carpet install started fairly professionally but ended in the disaster of 7 upholstered pieces of my Great Room and Dining Room furniture damaged and ruined by rain. My furniture was stored outside on my own cover deck and it rained, a big downpour. I don't know how long it was left in the rain but when they brought it back inside they put it directly on my brand new Snow White carpeting allowing all that water to drip and drain inside on the carpeting. I tried to remain calm as I gathered a hairdryer, towels and turn the over head fan on. The Flooring Pro's Installers left the project and never came back and never helped me dry my furniture out. As I began to attempt to dry my furniture I realized several pieces were completely saturated in the frame of the furniture. I removed cushion covers , searched for more towels because the five that I used or saturated with water. I called Debbie Henry, my sales person who had been awesome in that experience. She forwarded all my photos and videos and text concerns to the install manager . I was asked to " wait until the morning to address the rain damage to 7 pieces of upholstered furniture. Of course this was unacceptable knowing how graded some of my pieces were and I surely did not want them to sit with water all night. Three hours later flooring pros arrived at my house with a home size shop vac which I had strongly requested to extract as much water as possible despite Flooring Pros very limited sense of urgency to this disaster. I was thankful though it was 3 hours for the water to more fully be absorbed into fabric cushion covers , frames and decking of my love seat and brand new wingback chair. They attempted to extract rain water for about an hour at my house but the shop vac was a very low Strank's and though it was a professional response that evening it didn't work. When they left that night four hours after the disaster, I said to him, " my it is still wet and he responded yes it will be ". Flooring Pros Inc / Charlotte response: NO response initiated by Flooring Pros. None. Not a phone call or email from the owner who's name is Jason Watson, nor was there a phone call or email initiated by a manager flooring pros. Debbie, the sales person did call and ask what she could do though she was just the sales lady and referred me to contact the Gen Manager whom had been unprofessional, not apologetic, and Never came to see the unfinished carpet project nor the damage. Flooring Pros recommended I call a Fabric expert and she and hey did speak on the phone for 20 minutes because I called her. She and I agreed that a shop vac professional piece of equipment that was three times more powerful should be used to extract more water even though a full Nick had passed. The appointment was set and when the technician arrived at my house to extract more water, he did not bring the piece of equipment and said he intentionally had planned only to look at the furniture. I was So very very disappointed that the last resort of extracting more water from my furniture was going to really work. After the disaster, The One phone call which was a return phone call from the general manager Arlo, 4 weeks later, he did not offer an apology, nor regret, he simply asked what I wanted. I told him at this point that my furniture has been saturated in the frames and three of my pieces were brand new I would have to ask for replacement. I have sent flooring pros all my photos and a video of that evening with my hairdryer and wet t towels drying over my banister after soaking up as much water as I could by myself. I am waiting to hear from Flooring Pros for a fair compensation and an appropriate Apology or even acknowledgement from Jason Watson the owner!!! Martha Hubbell

The workers where on time and did an excellent job in that that they were neat and took care of the furnishings when moving them from room to room as they worked. They replaced each piece of furniture to its original spot in each room and if they were not sure they asked where it went.

The first appointment with the sales rep went well.  Overall, they were very competitive with other providers.  However,  there was a bit of a wait between the initial sales appointment and installation.  Follow up was poor.  Regarding the vinyl install, the dishwasher was damaged, but was eventually corrected, but not as quickly as I would have liked.  A bit of the quarter round near the dishwasher became detached the next day.  This was corrected.
Regarding the carpet install, clean up after the job was very poor.  A portion of drywall was knocked off during the install and a bar in the closet fell off and was never replaced.  I shared this with the provider, but no corrective action was taken and no follow up.  The carpet appears to be shedding  (which may be normal) and I am continually stepping on and pulling up tacks.
I was mostly (VERY) disappointed that my credit card was charged for the balance of the job ( I paid 50% deposit) without my authorization.   In light of the items that I requested be addressed/corrected, I felt this was poor customer service and VERY unprofessional.
I am not sure if I will use this provider again, although the initial appointment began very positively.  The lack of follow up and in particular the charge to my credit card without my authorization were huge negatives.
Response from The Flooring Pro's Inc.
"We value reviews and use each review as a training tool for our growth in business. Mrs. (member name removed) purchased vinyl and carpet from The Flooring Pro's. We ordered the material as requested and installed the material as we received it. During the installation of the vinyl a portion of the dishwasher bottom was removed to install the vinyl under the dishwasher. At the time of removal the installer noticed that there were no screws holding the plate in place so he replaced it as it was. After the installation Mrs. (member name removed) noticed that the plate was loose and contacted us. I mentioned since the carpet was scheduled next that my carpet installers could look at it and try to correct the issue. The day of the carpet installation I (General Manager) visited the home and instead of the carpet installers trying to fix the issue I would look at the dishwasher. I felt that someone more qualified would need to correct the problem so we contacted a local plumber to correct the problem. He contacted Mrs. (member name removed) and they scheduled a time to fix dishwasher. After the carpet installation we have authorization on file to run the final balance which we did. Mrs. (member name removed) called stating that there were a few areas where the installer damaged her paint and walls. After setting up an appointment to look at the damaged walls I received notice of this review. I visited Mrs (member name removed) and saw the few small damages when she stated that she was having her walss painted before she puts the house up for sale. We agreed to have her painter complete the repairs and The Flooring Pros would pay for the repairs. The total of the repairs was $100 which was paid directly to Mrs. (member name removed) on July 18,2014. She thanked me for my professionalism and how I handeled the repairs. We have a great track record of reviews and feel we will take care of the customer and value their opinion for future training."

The tile looked great. We had to call them back to redo two tiles under the register that weren't cut correctly. Otherwise it looked great.

Didn't carry off all of the tile that was cut/left. Had to call Arlo several times to try and get the final invoice but the tile job looked great.

It was good, it was unbelievable. They went above and beyond what the normal service. There was a very serious problem with the wrong floor being sent out but they really worked hard and worked it all out. I was ok with letting them come back after Thanksgiving since I didn’t think there would be enough time but they insisted on getting it done before thanksgiving and came on their day off. They really put the customer first, not only the owner but the workers as well.
