**UPDATE**
We were contacted by Jennifer via Facebook after posting the review on their site as well. She put us in contact with Kyle who not only adjusted the delivery charges back to where they were quoted, but fixed the overcharges to our credit card for services. Thanks for taking care of this for us, Kyle. We appreciate your customer service in making this right.

ORIGINAL REVIEW -- 
We searched out several storage facilities and due to the name recognition and convenience we chose PODS to aid us in our move. They picked up our belongings at our apt in Charlotte , NC in February to store in their facility until we were able to find a new home and get moved out of the apartments we were in at the time. 
At the time we signed the contract we were quoted a $70 redelivery charge to drop the pod off at our new home once we were ready. That apparently was a crock. 
We closed on our new home in Dallas, NC a couple of weeks ago and have finally gotten everything to where we could accept the rest of our belongings. On Monday we logged on to their website and scheduled the delivery for Saturday (tomorrow). We were informed that we would receive a confirmation call one day before hand with the delivery window to expect. We waited and waited and no call. At 8:30 pm we called the company and were told they had no record of the delivery and it would not be delivered on Saturday. (We had unloaders scheduled to arrive to unload the pod). They told us that the soonest we could have it delivered is the following Tuesday and the charge would now be $160 since we were having it delivered to somewhere other than where it was picked up. EXCUSE ME?! what would the point of having you belongings stored for over $200 per month and then delivered to the same location? This was never communicated to us.
We understand that there are issues with computers and something could have happened and the delivery order not go through. But to not have any communication until the night before the scheduled delivery means if there was an issue, as in our case, it is too late to correct. ALSO, the price difference is not okay. If there is the possibility that the charge will differ than that quoted, that needs to be pointed out at the onset of the deal. 
This is the last time we will use this company and will make sure everyone else knows to beware.

The driver of the POD took my Pod in NYC hit a railroad overpass in the pouring rain. They lied to me several times. I lost just about everything I owned Nd they were not sympathetic to me At. I recovered some monies to buy new couch...but not nearly what I lost
Ask about insurance which they did not ask me. Preferably DO'T USE THEM.

It went well. To do an interstate move they only had one size pod, so things inside shifted and got moved around. The unit was larger than I needed. They were efficient and available and easy to work with for schedule and delivering.

It is a great service. I feel that it is relatively cheap for what all I am getting. It seems expensive, however I have felt that the payments have been worth every penny. I have an 8 x 16 ft container. They came and dropped the POD off in front of my home and I filled it up with the stuff that I needed to have stored. I called them and they came right out to pick it up and take it to storage. I pay them on a monthly basis and fifty dollars of my payment goes to insurance which is great, because my stuff is still protected. There is the option for cheaper insurance or no insurance depending on the consumers preference. I have found that it is a very high skill job, because of the specialized equipment that they use to transport and care for the pods.

It was easy to use this company. I liked the fact that nothing went missing. We were the ones with the key to the padlock. We felt our things were secure. The cost was reasonable. All we had to do was to tell them when to drop the pod off, when to move it, and when to pick it up.

We had this company deliver a POD for us to fill up before moving. When we were done filing it, they picked it up. Our stuff has been in storage for the past five months and we pay $130 per month. It's expensive, but worth it to have everything delivered to your doorstep. No complaints.

I have no complaints from them. They picked it up when they said they would and delivered it on time as well. I had a few issues broken things and they said it wasn't them and they didn't help me resolve my problem.

THEY CHARGED MY CARD WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME, AND LIED TO ME OVER THE PHONE. EVERY CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT GAVE ME A DIFFERENT STORY AND ALWAYS PASSED THE BUCK. I HAVE CALLED 5 TO 6 TIMES FOR HELP IN A DISPUTE,TO NO AVAIL. MY DRIVEWAY IS DAMAGED WITH A LARGE CRUSHED SIDE. THEY REFERRED ME TO THEIR LEGAL DEPARTMENT INSTEAD OF HANDLING IT. IT WAS ENTIRELY THEIR FAULT. I EVEN EMAILED LETTERS TO THE HOME OFFICE. IT APPEARS THEY HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE FRANCHISES. FLORIDA IS BLAMING NC, AND NC SAYS FLORIDA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISPUTE. IN THE MEANTIME, I HAVE HAD A DAMAGED DRIVEWAY SINCE FEBRUARY.

STORAGE FOR 1 MONTH WAS LESS THAN $200. WE USED IT FOR MOVING. THEY DROPPED IT OFF & WE LOADED IT. THEY CAME BACK, PICKED IT UP, DROVE IT TO OUR NEW HOUSE AND DROPPED IT OFF. WE THEN UNLOADED IT, AND THEY CAME BACK TO PICK IT UP WHEN WE WERE FINISHED.
