My house was completely overgrown due to the rain and cool summer.  I
called for them to come by for an estimate and they came out a day
later.  Gave me a very reasonable estimate, explaining what they would do to clear up all the brush, etc.  Did an unbelievable job - it went from a place that looked like it was going into foreclosure into a beautifully manicured lawn/trimmed bushes, etc.  Can't say enough good things about Jimmy and his team!

Jimmy came next day to price the job and scheduled it within a few days.  Job was completed while I was at work.  When I returned home, the bushes were trimmed perfectly and no debris was left on top of pine needles. Great experience!

I could not have been happier with this company.  Jimmy Helms was very professional and his team did an outstanding job.  We have a lot of plant life that was really taking over due to all the rain.  I met with Jimmy in the AM and made sure he understood all that I needed done.  They showed up on the day and time they were supposed to.  I then went to work.  When I got home, I was so pleased with how my yard looked.  Thank you Jimmy!

We called Jimmy Helms after reading the great reviews on Angie's List and are so happy with the experience! Jimmy is getting a little busy, so his "helper" Gerald performed the work. Gerald brought his son, and they were fantastic! On time, very fast, and the work has been done exactly the way I wanted. We will definitely be calling again for a touch up at the end of the summer.

Jimmy did an excellent job assisting us with problems we were having with the timer on our sprinkler system. He arrived the day after I e-mailed him, he fixed/adjusted the timer on our sprinkler system. Best of all, he offered suggestion and "know how" on the sprinkler heads and timer so that we could perform the "set-up and our change" by our self. I truly love this type of contractor.He always leaves us with a little knowledge and skill so that we can help ourself when these problems a rise.

Jimmy provided us with excellent service in freshening up our front, back and side yards. He trimmed all the hedges, layered sod where needed and removed the old much replacing it with new. We have had numerous lawn service companies and none of them did the quality of work that Jimmy did. He was prompt in responding to our initial request, the hedge trimming was beautiful. It looked like it had been done by and "artist." I told him we were looking for a type of mulch that looked but needed something our very large and furry dog would not track all over the yard and house. He suggest the mulch  and sure enough, he was correct. No mess from our dog. He replaced and sod and again it looked great and well manicured. One other thing I really appreciated was that he offered a few suggestions that really helped us in keeping our yard beautiful and help us to save money. We will definitely hire Jimmy again.

He did a wonderful job and at a very good price. Removed pine straw and put down mulch. Yard looks great. Called and the job was done within two days.

My daughter and I bought this as a birthday present for my husband.  He hates the first mowing of the yard and, especially, trimming bushes.  I called the number and James answered.  He came by that morning and gave an estimate to my daughter.  The only negative:  it was almost three weeks before he came and did the work.  Rain and lots of spring work held him up. When they finally got there it was well worth the wait.  Not only was I pleased but my husband was pleased as well!

I really can?t say enough good things about Jimmy and the job he did for me. The start of my project was initially delayed because of the weather but once it cleared the work was excellent. He did way more than I commissioned him for; gave me some advise on other things, and though I assumed he would he did not request additional fees. Jimmy reminds me of the old days when pride was taken in the work and the name linked to that work.

I have a number of large trees on my property, and consequently tons of leaves I need removed each year. I've been disappointed in past years with substandard performance on the part of providers I've hired for the job.  This year I went to Angie's List and found J&P Lawn Maintenance.  I needed someone with a commercial leaf vacuum because of the number of leaves, and J&P had one.  More importantly, they have a great track record on Angie's List and the owner, Jimmie, quoted me a very competitive price.  It took us a while to find a date that worked on account of weather, but when they made it out to the house they did a terrific job.  They were very thorough, and didn't tear up the yard with their equipment as past providers have done.  I'll definitely plan to call Jimmie next year.

I left a message for Jimmy Helms and he called me back promptly.  He also came over that same day to give me a quote which was lower than the other quote I obtained.  He said the work would be done 3 business days later.  It was done on the date scheduled and they did a great job on both the yard and gutters/roof including blowing off the sidewalks and driveway.  It was a great experience and I would hire them again.

I found Jimmy on Angie's list, called him -- and he was super responsive.  I had called a few other places and they never did get back to me.  Jimmy called me back within the hour.  We agreed on a time for him to come out and provide an estimate -- he was right on time and was friendly to work with.  The day of the work arrived and Jimmy and his crew removed all the leaves from our large yard -- even from behind bushes/trees we didn't even know had leaves hiding back there.  All in all the group did a great job and I would highly recommend Jimmy and his team.  Very nice to work with, friendly, well priced and the yard looked super when they were done.  I will definitely call them again for future jobs.

The men who come to my house are very efficient and friendly and do a great job.  My lawn looks wonderful and there is even grass growing where it hasn't grown in years because of the shade.  Jimmy Helms always returns my calls immediately and provides great customer service.  I also find him to be a great resource for my lawn and plant related questions.  I plan to continue to use them indefinitely and have already referred them to my brother and a few more of my neighbors.   It took me a while to decide to spend the money on a lawn service and looking back it was worth every penny.
