The exterior was quite 2 years ago in the spring. The roof was the beginning of last year. The interior had been the great company. The exterior was about $20000. The roof was somewhere $45. The interior was probably $10. They were excellent, communicated well, very knowledgeable, and trustworthy. They were great company. They were good company and grew up selfless. The scheduling is not within our tenant, they really have so many people. That we actually think of bringing him again.

He did a great job. His price is slightly higher. He is pricy but do good work.

It took 4 weeks to get on the schedule but once the work was done it was done very well. Two worker worked from 8am - 230pm with a brief lunch to paint my open 1.5 story living room and stairwell. Hey did a good job but $500 for six hours of painting seemed a bit steep. Nonetheless, I called Sam the owner back twice to set up a time to paint the remaining 3 rooms I needed painting, but never received a call back from Sam. It made me feel like my business was not important, so I took it elsewhere.

Carolina Painting & Carpentry Inc did good work, they were very prompt, and had good follow up. I used them because of the reports on Angie's List.

Outstanding job!  hand painted entire deck including screened area.  Replaced some boards.  Looks like new!

 I contacted Carolinas Painting and Carpentry to paint the interior of my home. This is the second time I have used their services.(first time was to paint the exterior) I spoke directly with the owner, Luis Murillo. He was willing to work with me on price and gave me a very detailed estimate. The entire crew was very polite and did an "EXCELLENT JOB".. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to have their home painted.

Work was performed on the days and times requested, was efficient and complete. Workers were pleasant and hard working. Performed all jobs and used specific materials as requested. Owner restated a complete house touch-up offerring over the next year as part of the agreement. Very good outcome. Would reccomend firm to others.

Luis provided a timely and through estimate for the overall project. I found Luis very helpful in fine tuning the details for this project and can say that with 30 plus years? experience in construction I have not seen many proposals on multi-million dollar projects more detailed and descriptive than what Luis provided me. Although Luis was not the low cost provider I selected Luis based on ?Angie?s List? references and his scheduled start / completion dates.

Fabio, Luis? son, was on site each day working closely with me on the carpentry modifications as well as paint systems being applied. The crew did an excellent job and it is encouraging to see character and quality traits being passed down from father to son.

I have had this house and several others painted over the years and never have I had a final product that approached the quality work done by Carolina Painting and Carpentry.  I have pretty high expectations and am often diasappointed, but Carolina Painting and Carpentry exceeded my expectations. 
I had several quotes and they were actually the highest, but I was so impressed with my discussions with the owner and information provided in the estimate that I decided to spend the extra money.  One of the best decisions I have made in a good while!   
I highly recommend these folks for doing an absolutely first class job.

I asked some friends if they knew any exterior painters, and one friend reffered me to Luis, and his crew at Carolina Painting and Carpentry. My friend explained that I could verify them through Angie's List. So, I found them on here, and quickly got in contact with Luis. Luis was so knowledgable, that I didn't waste any more time looking for other painting contractors. His cost estimates were fair market with what some of my neighbors had recently paid when they got their homes painted. The difference was the quality, my neighbors have complimented me on how nice the house looks, and wish they had gotten their work done by Carolina Painting and Carpentry. 
The people were friendly, efficient, and didn't shortcut anything. They pointed things out, and didn't perform unnecessary work.
I would highly recommend Carolina Painting and Carpentry to anyone in need of any kind of house work.

The team was excellent from beginning to end, the work was started on time, one professionally, with plenty of quality checks and reviews.  Their recommendations were dead on and the house looks great outside now. Will call them back for interior painting as soon as we are ready.  Thank you again!

The estimate was professionally done with pictures and specifically what they would o.  They arrived when promised and the work was performed over a period of about a week as they had described prior to starting.  There has to be time for the deck to dry before the painting.  They worked diligently the whole time and finished when promised.  It looks great.

He did a good job. I thought he was fairly priced. Overall I was satisfied.

Exterior wood siding was in need of scraping, sanding and painting. Some molding was missing or damaged and several soffitts were rotted. The company gave us a detailed quote with pictures of the repairs they planned to make. The quote was comparable to others. The workers were very diligent and paid attention to detail. They even worked through the 105 degree temps during June/July. After they finished they came back with the owner to fix anything they missed. We were very satisfied and have received several compliments from neighbors.

The quality of the work done by Luis and his Team is excellent.  They are contentious about every detail of the work.  They took the extra steps necessary to assure the final result met our expectations.  We have had our house painted before and it is clear that the work done by CAROLINA PAINTING & CARPENTRY is much better.  We are very pleased and would recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

The painting was not bad. The only thing negative that I could say was the company represented themselves as a family business and when they showed up it was obvious hat they were not. The work was satisfactory. I did have to call them back one time to make minor adjustments to the work that they did. They were not the cheapest. They were pretty punctual.

I chose them because of the amount of work they had to do as well as their quote. They did good work, showed up on time and finished when they said they would.

From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Luis and his crew from Carolina Painting and Carpentry. Of the three estimates we had recieved from various contractors, Luis was not only the most reasonable and pleasant, but he was also willing to go out of his way to take care of problems that he felt needed to be addressed without substantially raising the total cost because it was important to him that the job was done right. He took extra time when he came out initially to give us an estimate and was very thorough and knowledgeable. Luis, his son Fabio, the lead worker Edwin and his two helpers all were very polite and friendly and did an outstanding job. Both Edwin and Fabio even went out of their way and offered to give me some tips on some minor repairs and painting that I was doing inside myself while they were working on the exterior of the house. They made sure to explain everything as they went along and each step of the way was inspected and they made sure we were happy with the work before they proceeded. Both the materials and the paint they used were of the highest quality, which was very important to us. There were some additional things that they found that needed to be repaired as they were working which is common with these type of repairs and not unexpected, but it was all done very reasonably and the final cost was still very affordable for all the great work they did.
Bottom line - Luis wants you to be very happy with the finished work and he takes a lot of pride in his business so it will be done to both yours and his satisfaction! Expertise and honesty are the two most important traits to look for in a contractor, and Luis and his crew have both. I can't recommend Carolina Painting and Carpentry highly enough!

Overall the project went very well and the crew was very friendly and eager to please.  Thoroughly caulked all joints and seams.  Painted the gutters for no extra charge.  Pretty much stuck to their schedule as stated in the estimate and were insistent on making sure I was satisfied with their work.  They offer a lengthy warranty and encouraged calling if anything proves problematic.  So far the house still looks great, and I don't anticipate having to call anytime soon.  Would definitely recommend calling them for an estimate.  They won't be the least expensive painting company out there, but you will definitely get more for your money than the cheapest out there.

Their pricing was very competitive and I would say they were prompt and timely.

They were very professional, very clean and very nice. They did great work. I would use them again in the future; in fact, I have been trying to contact them and they have not responded. They did back then but they haven’t recently. I emailed and called. I will try again.
