I like doing much of my home maintenance, but sometimes something electrical makes me nervous. A friend of my had recommended Mr. Ratcliffe to me a few months ago. And since I was changing out an outside deck electrical plugin, I wanted to make sure I was doing it right. I called Mr. Ratcliffe this morning at around 9 a.m. and he told me that today he was running errands in the little town near me so he would have a little extra time to come by my house to see exactly what I needed. Wow, what luck. Now, remember receiving a service call in less than 4 hours just doesn't happen very often, if at all especially for a new customer. But that's what happened to me.
Mr. Ratcliffe arrived at my home like he said he would, he was greeted by my 4 dogs, which I asked him if he was afraid of dogs before he came out and he said no.

He took a look at what I had, said that I needed a different type of electrical receptacle and promptly took off in his truck to the local hardware store to purchase what was needed to make the outlet waterproof and to code. When he returned, he promptly got the job finished even though I kept asking him questions.
This man is a professional who knows his work very well, is courteous, explains things as he goes along, charges a fair price and was very kind to my dogs, who loved his attention. I will definitely call him again.

It's not a company but just one electrician. He is a licensed electrician. Robert is the one that wired our entire home when we built it on a recommendation of our contractor. We were totally impressed with him and his knowledge. He just far exceeded any other electrician that I think we could have had. He gave us suggestions about lighting, placing the plugs and switches. I thought I had all sort out but he really gave us some good ideas. We've just been happy ever since. Since then we've had him change a few electrical things and doing more in the upstairs because we finished our upstairs off and that's why we had the other heating component put in. He also ran a line in the backyard out to the back. He's done several things for us over the years. He's always been extremely reasonable on his prices. It's a little hard to get a hold of him but he does return your calls. We can't get him immediately all the time but he does return your call and comes out when he says he will.
