I would not recommend this moving company. We were charged $1000 for a move that only involves less than 15 items (many of which are luggages and small boxes). Out of the 5 hours of labor we were charged, 2 of them were from their driving. They wrote down how it would take one hour to get to our new house from the current location. The exact time to get to one from another is 34 minutes. They were super slow the entire time. When we moved to the area, it took 2 movers to get the whole apartment with at least 50 items within 2 years, so we know how good movers can move items.

This company was absolutely unprofessional from the movers to the owner. No confirmation call the day before. NO one contacted me to do a pre move ANYTHING. 2 men showed up the day of the move and slowly started packing the truck. Before the truck as even packed, the young man who was moving items to the truck WALKED off the job telling me he was frustrated with the company and he was leaving. the other mover said “ the clock” was stopped as we waited for the workers replacement. we then waitEd and nothing was done for over an hour. when the new guy showed up he and the driver began packing the truck again. my entry door well was damaged. a few hours later we started to my new place about an hour away. after several hours the driver told me I needed to talk to a woman on the phone to pay. my total was with my down payment was astronomical and I had no choice to py as they still had my items on the truck. I still had several trips of items in my old apartment. I had to pay another set of movers 300 dollars to complete the services Liberty left. I would never refer anyone to this company. I never got anything for proof I paid. I have tried several times to speak to someone about he move at Liberty. today I was spoken to very rudely in text by the owner. He accused me of extortion, saying I was trying to shake his company down for money, this was after his movers took responsibility of the door damage ( the replacement mover told me he did it himself day of the move) he accused me of trying to get money from them that I was hiding something. I am in absolute shock at this company’s behavior in this matter. When you use a company once and have such a great experience, using them again to have the exact opposite happen it’s very jarring. Don’t use them, you would be better off asking a group of teens to move you. I have all the text conversations and the bank statements showing how much I paid them I also have pictures. Landon was rude and disrespectful for no reason! When I contacted them about the door right after the move, they said they would take care of it, but they didn’t. That was why I had to keep contacting them about the door. What a nightmare!

They were great! More than helpful! Very affordable! Everything was neatly placed and nothing was damaged. I will definitely be re-hiring if the time comes!

How do you rate a mover who never showed up? We booked these movers for an out of state move. We had the move on the books for weeks. After calling several times the day before to confirm, no one never showed up at the location. Instead of hoping this company might show up the following day, we found a new mover in a few hours. The other company showed up early, communicated through the process, and (most importantly) got the job done. And what did Liberty movers offer after leaving us in a bind? Their apologies.... Thanks but no thanks. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Avoid this company at all costs.

It was a 10 hour day. They showed up with very little supplies to wrap my glass items, no wardrobe boxes to pack my clothes and everything was already packed in plastic bins, and 4 rooms of furniture. All 3 movers were kind and hard workers. The problem was how they packed my things in the storage unit, my things appeared to be thrown in there and resembled a pile of trash. At the end of very long day it was disappointing. I can't retrieve anything from it.

Awful - would never hire them again. They lied about everything, showed up late, were very rude, called later to a person we had purchased a dining room set from and threatened them for which the police had to be called. I was charged for a full move but only moved half of my house. I also paid for a full house cleaning had it scheduled but needed to reschedule and Landon Rozier never called me back and nobody showed up after I paid $414 which I have disputed with my bank and half of my move. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE LYING CROOKS!

I'm not sure why there's a comment advising that my review was untrue. Angie's List, I really hope this isn't true. Anyway......see below: As you've requested Landon, here's the ammendment you and the attorney you hired wanted me to post, since now you think it's slander (see definition below). What is Angie's List for if we can't submit a 100% true review. So, here you go.... Owner of Liberty Moves, Landon Rozier was found AT FAULT and ordered to pay for my repairs!!!! Even though my issue has been resolved, I will say it again...DO NOT HIRE LIBERTY MOVES!!!! I will NEVER recommend this moving company to anyone. Leading up to a final resolution, I feel Landon was very unprofessional and disrespectful based on his text message responses (I have all messages saved) about what he wasn't going to pay for. Going forward Landon, please treat your clients/customers better than you treated me. Or better yet, don't damage their property. Everything I notated, was true. I should've reviewed Better Business Bureau's website before hiring Liberty Moves. Meaning of slander: "the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation".

The two guys were right on time. They were meticulous with their packing by covering furniture first with rugs and then plastic sheeting to ensure protection. I was a tiny bit conflicted, however. As careful as they were, we felt the process was slower than it should have been. I’ve had much experience over the years with movers and it would have been helpful to have a third guy. After awhile, my husband decided to help move things along by taking some large plastic bins we had already packed up out to their truck. Because we were relocating my mom to an assisted living facility, there was only so much she could have in her new living space. I made sure the movers knew this ahead of time so perhaps that is the reason for sending out just a couple of fellows. I don’t know. But regardless, they were great to deal with and everything worked out okay.
